28TO [THE] SOUND OF [THE] OUTCRY OF SAILORS YOUR THEY WILL QUAKE PASTURELANDS 28The countryside will shake when your sailors cry out.
29AND THEY WILL COME DOWN FROM SHIPS THEIR ALL [THOSE WHO] WIELD <OF> AN OAR MARINERS ALL [THE] SAILORS OF THE SEA TO THE LAND THEY WILL STAND 29All who handle the oars will abandon their ships. The sailors and all the captains of the sea will stand on the shore.
30AND THEY WILL MAKE HEARD ON YOU <IN> VOICE THEIR SO THEY MAY CRY OUT BITTER SO THEY MAY BRING UP DUST ON HEADS THEIR IN <THE> ASH[ES] THEY WILL ROLL 30They will raise their voices for you and cry out bitterly. They will throw dust on their heads and roll in ashes.
31AND THEY WILL MAKE BALD BECAUSE OF YOU BALDNESS AND THEY WILL GIRD THEMSELVES SACKCLOTH<S> AND THEY WILL WEEP BECAUSE OF YOU WITH BITTERNESS OF EMOTION WAILING BITTER 31They will shave their heads for you and wrap themselves in sackcloth. They will weep over you with anguish of soul and bitter mourning.
32AND THEY WILL TAKE UP CONCERNING YOU IN WAILING THEIR A LAMENTATION AND THEY WILL LAMENT ON YOU WHO? [IS] LIKE TYRE LIKE ONE SILENCED IN [THE] MIDDLE OF THE SEA 32As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament for you: ‘Who was ever like Tyre, silenced in the middle of the sea?
33WHEN WENT OUT WARES YOUR FROM [THE] SEAS YOU SATISFIED PEOPLES MANY BY [THE] ABUNDANCE OF WEALTH<S> YOUR AND MERCHANDISE<S> YOUR YOU MADE RICH [THE] KINGS OF [THE] EARTH 33When your wares went out to sea, you satisfied many nations. You enriched the kings of the earth with your abundant wealth and merchandise.
34[THE] TIME BEING BROKEN FROM [THE] SEAS IN [THE] DEPTHS OF [THE] WATER MERCHANDISE YOUR AND ALL COMPANY YOUR IN [THE] MIDST OF YOU THEY HAVE FALLEN 34Now you are shattered by the seas in the depths of the waters; your merchandise and the people among you have gone down with you.
35ALL [THE] INHABITANTS OF THE ISLANDS THEY HAVE BEEN APPALLED ON YOU AND KINGS THEIR THEY HAVE SHUDDERED SHUDDERING THEY HAVE BEEN DISCONCERTED FACES 35All the people of the coastlands are appalled over you. Their kings shudder with fear; their faces are contorted.
36TRADERS AMONG THE PEOPLES THEY HAVE HISSED ON YOU TERRORS YOU HAVE BECOME AND THERE NOT [WILL BE] YOU UNTIL PERPETUITY 36Those who trade among the nations hiss at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more
