23THUS HE SAYS CYRUS [THE] KING OF PERSIA ALL [THE] KINGDOMS OF THE EARTH HE HAS GIVEN TO ME YAHWEH [THE] GOD OF THE HEAVENS AND HE HE HAS APPOINTED <ON> ME TO BUILD FOR HIM A HOUSE IN JERUSALEM WHICH [IS] IN JUDAH WHO? [IS] AMONG YOU FROM ALL PEOPLE HIS YAHWEH GOD HIS [BE] WITH HIM AND LET HIM GO UP 23“This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, who has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, has appointed me to build a house for Him at Jerusalem in Judah. Whoever among you belongs to His people, may the LORD his God be with him, and may he go up.’”
1AND IN YEAR ONE OF CYRUS [THE] KING OF PERSIA TO FULFILL [THE] WORD OF YAHWEH FROM [THE] MOUTH OF JEREMIAH HE STIRRED YAHWEH <OBJ.> [THE] SPIRIT OF CYRUS [THE] KING OF PERSIA AND HE CAUSED TO PASS A PROCLAMATION IN ALL KINGDOM HIS AND ALSO IN WRITING <TO> SAYING The Proclamation of Cyrus (2 Chronicles 36:22–23; Isaiah 45:1–25) 1In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken through Jeremiah, the LORD stirred the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia to send a proclamation throughout his kingdom and to put it in writing as follows:
2THUS HE SAYS CYRUS [THE] KING OF PERSIA ALL [THE] KINGDOMS OF THE EARTH HE HAS GIVEN TO ME YAHWEH [THE] GOD OF THE HEAVENS AND HE HE HAS APPOINTED <ON> ME TO BUILD FOR HIM A HOUSE IN JERUSALEM WHICH [IS] IN JUDAH 2“This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, who has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, has appointed me to build a house for Him at Jerusalem in Judah.
3WHO? [IS] AMONG YOU FROM ALL PEOPLE HIS MAY HE BE GOD HIS WITH HIM AND LET HIM GO UP TO JERUSALEM WHICH [IS] IN JUDAH AND LET HIM BUILD <OBJ.> [THE] HOUSE OF YAHWEH [THE] GOD OF ISRAEL HE [IS] <THE> GOD WHO [IS] IN JERUSALEM 3Whoever among you belongs to His people, may his God be with him, and may he go to Jerusalem in Judah and build the house of the LORD, the God of Israel; He is the God who is in Jerusalem.
4AND EVERY <THE> [ONE WHO] REMAINS FROM ALL THE PLACES WHERE HE [IS] SOJOURNING THERE LET THEM SUPPORT HIM [THE] PEOPLE OF PLACE HIS WITH SILVER AND WITH GOLD AND WITH PROPERTY AND WITH CATTLE WITH THE FREEWILL OFFERING FOR [THE] HOUSE OF <THE> GOD WHICH [IS] IN JERUSALEM 4And let every survivor, wherever he lives, be assisted by the men of that region with silver, gold, goods, and livestock, along with a freewill offering for the house of God in Jerusalem.’”
5AND THEY AROSE [THE] HEADS OF THE FATHERS OF JUDAH AND BENJAMIN AND THE PRIESTS AND THE LEVITES TO EVERY [ONE WHOM] HE HAD STIRRED UP <THE> GOD <OBJ.> SPIRIT HIS TO GO UP TO BUILD <OBJ.> [THE] HOUSE OF YAHWEH WHICH [IS] IN JERUSALEM 5So the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, along with the priests and Levites— everyone whose spirit God had stirred— prepared to go up and rebuild the house of the LORD in Jerusalem.
6AND ALL AROUND THEM THEY ENCOURAGED <IN> HANDS THEIR WITH VESSELS OF SILVER WITH <THE> GOLD WITH <THE> PROPERTY AND WITH <THE> CATTLE AND WITH <THE> PRECIOUS THINGS <TO> BESIDES <ON> ALL OF ERING OF FREEWILL OFFERINGS 6And all their neighbors supported them with articles of silver and gold, with goods and livestock, and with valuables, in addition to all their freewill offerings.
7AND THE KING CYRUS HE BROUGHT OUT <OBJ.> [THE] VESSELS OF [THE] HOUSE OF YAHWEH WHICH HE HAD BROUGHT OUT NEBUCHADNEZZAR FROM JERUSALEM AND HE HAD PUT THEM IN [THE] HOUSE OF GODS HIS Cyrus Restores the Holy Vessels 7King Cyrus also brought out the articles belonging to the house of the LORD that Nebuchadnezzar had carried away from Jerusalem and placed in the temple of his gods.
8AND HE BROUGHT OUT THEM CYRUS [THE] KING OF PERSIA ON [THE] HAND OF MITHREDATH THE TREASURER AND HE COUNTED OUT THEM TO SHESHBAZZAR THE PRINCE OF JUDAH 8Cyrus king of Persia had them brought out by the hand of Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.*NoteCloseThat is, the leader of the exiles returning to Judah

10BOWLS OF GOLD THIRTY BOWLS OF SILVER SECOND ORDER FOUR HUNDRED<S> AND TEN VESSELS OTHER ONE THOUSAND 1030 gold bowls, 410 matching silver bowls, and 1,000 other articles.
11ALL VESSELS OF <THE> GOLD AND OF <THE> SILVER FIVE THOUSAND<S> AND FOUR HUNDRED<S> <THE> EVERYTHING HE BROUGHT UP SHESHBAZZAR WITH WERE LED UP THE EXILE[S] FROM BABYLON TO JERUSALEM 11In all, there were 5,400 gold and silver articles. Sheshbazzar brought all these along when the exiles went up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
