9AND ROCK ITS FROM TERROR IT WILL PASS AWAY AND THEY WILL BE DISMAYED FROM A STANDARD COMMANDERS ITS [THE] UTTERANCE OF YAHWEH WHO FIRE [BELONGS] TO HIM IN ZION AND AN OVEN [BELONGS] TO HIM IN JERUSALEM 9Their rock will pass away for fear, and their princes will panic at the sight of the battle standard,” declares the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, whose furnace is in Jerusalem.
1THERE! FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS HE WILL REIGN A KING AND TO RULERS FOR JUSTICE THEY WILL RULE A Righteous King 1Behold, a king will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with justice.
2AND HE WILL BE EACH LIKE A HIDING PLACE OF A WIND AND A SHELTER OF A RAINSTORM LIKE STREAMS OF WATER IN A DRY LAND LIKE [THE] SHADOW OF A ROCK HEAVY IN A LAND WEARY 2Each will be like a shelter from the wind, a refuge from the storm, like streams of water in a dry land, like the shadow of a great rock in an arid land.
3AND NOT THEY WILL GAZE [THE] EYES OF [THOSE WHO] SEE AND [THE] EARS OF [THOSE WHO] HEAR THEY WILL PAY ATTENTION 3Then the eyes of those who see will no longer be closed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.
4AND [THE] HEART OF HASTY [PEOPLE] IT WILL UNDERSTAND <TO> KNOWLEDGE AND [THE] TONGUE OF STAMMERERS IT WILL HASTEN TO SPEAK CLEARLY 4The mind of the rash will know and understand, and the stammering tongue will speak clearly and fluently.
5NOT IT WILL BE CALLED AGAIN TO A FOOL NOBLE AND OF A SCOUNDREL NOT IT WILL BE SAID EMINENT PERSON 5No longer will a fool be called noble, nor a scoundrel be respected.
6FOR A FOOL FOLLY HE SPEAKS AND HEART HIS IT DOES WICKEDNESS BY DOING GODLESSNESS AND BY SPEAKING CONCERNING YAHWEH ERROR BY KEEPING EMPTY [THE] APPETITE OF [THE] HUNGRY AND DRINK [THE] THIRSTY HE DEPRIVES 6For a fool speaks foolishness; his mind plots iniquity. He practices ungodliness and speaks falsely about the LORD; he leaves the hungry empty and deprives the thirsty of drink.
7AND A SCOUNDREL WEAPONS HIS [ARE] EVIL HE EVIL PURPOSES HE PLANS TO RUIN AFFLICTED [PEOPLE] WITH WORDS OF FALSEHOOD AND WHEN SPEAKS [THE] NEEDY JUSTICE 7The weapons of the scoundrel are destructive; he hatches plots to destroy the poor with lies, even when the plea of the needy is just.
8AND A NOBLE [PERSON] NOBLE DEEDS HE PLANS AND HE ON NOBLE DEEDS HE STANDS 8But a noble man makes honorable plans; he stands up for worthy causes.

The hill*NoteCloseHebrew The Ophel and the watchtower will become caves forever the delight of wild donkeys and a pasture for flocks—
15UNTIL IT WILL BE POURED OUT ON US SPIRIT FROM A HIGH PLACE AND IT WILL BECOME [THE] WILDERNESS <INTO> <THE> ORCHARD AND THE ORCHARD TO <THE> FOREST IT WILL BE CONSIDERED 15until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high. Then the desert will be an orchard, and the orchard will seem like a forest.
16AND IT WILL DWELL IN THE WILDERNESS JUSTICE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS IN THE ORCHARD IT WILL REMAIN 16Then justice will inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness will dwell in the fertile field.
17AND IT WILL BE [THE] WORK OF <THE> RIGHTEOUSNESS PEACE AND [THE] LABOR OF <THE> RIGHTEOUSNESS [WILL BE] QUIETNESS AND SECURITY UNTIL PERPETUITY 17The work of righteousness will be peace; the service of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever.

19AND IT WILL HAIL WHEN COMES DOWN THE FOREST AND WITH <THE> LOWNESS IT WILL BECOME LOW THE CITY 19But hail will level the forest, and the city will sink to the depths.
20HOW BLESSED [ARE]! YOU O [THOSE WHO] SOW AT EVERY WATER O [THOSE WHO] LET LOOSE [THE] FOOT OF THE OX AND THE DONKEY 20Blessed are those who sow beside abundant waters, who let the ox and donkey range freely.
