3TRAVELING I AND LYING DOWN MY YOU SIFT AND ALL WAYS MY YOU KNOW INTIMATELY 3You search out my path and my lying down; You are aware of all my ways.
4FOR THERE NOT [IS] A WORD ON TONGUE MY THERE! O YAHWEH YOU KNOW ALL OF IT 4Even before a word is on my tongue, You know all about it, O LORD.
5BACK PART AND FRONT YOU ENCLOSE ME AND YOU HAVE PUT ON ME HAND YOUR 5You hem me in behind and before; You have laid Your hand upon me.

7WHERE? WILL I GO FROM SPIRIT YOUR AND WHERE? FROM PRESENCE YOUR WILL I FLEE 7Where can I go to escape Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence?
8IF I WILL ASCEND HEAVENS [ARE] THERE YOU AND I WILL SPREAD AS A BED SHEOL THERE [ARE] YOU 8If I ascend to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there.
9I WILL RISE UP [THE] WINGS OF DAWN I DWELL AT [THE] END OF [THE] SEA 9If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle by the farthest sea,
10ALSO THERE HAND YOUR IT WILL LEAD ME AND IT WILL GRASP ME RIGHT [HAND] YOUR 10even there Your hand will guide me; Your right hand will hold me fast.
11AND I SAID SURELY DARKNESS IT WILL CRUSH ME AND [WILL BE] NIGHT [THE] LIGHT BEHIND ME 11If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light become night around me”—

16SHAPELESS FORM MY THEY SAW EYES YOUR AND ON SCROLL YOUR ALL OF THEM THEY WERE WRITTEN DAYS [WHICH] THEY WERE ORDAINED AND TO IT ONE AMONG THEM 16Your eyes saw my unformed body; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be

19IF YOU WILL KILL O GOD [THE] WICKED AND O MEN OF BLOOD<S> DEPART FROM ME 19O God, that You would slay the wicked— away from me, you bloodthirsty men—

23EXAMINE ME O GOD AND KNOW HEART MY TEST ME AND KNOW DISQUIETING THOUGHTS MY 23Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns.
24AND SEE IF A WAY OF AN IDOL [IS] IN ME AND LEAD ME IN [THE] WAY OF ANTIQUITY 24See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting.
