13<TO> BEFORE YAHWEH FOR [HE IS] COMING FOR [HE IS] COMING TO JUDGE THE EARTH HE WILL JUDGE [THE] WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS AND PEOPLES IN FAITHFULNESS HIS 13before the LORD, for He is coming— He is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His faithfulness.
1YAHWEH HE REIGNS LET IT BE GLAD THE EARTH LET THEM REJOICE ISLANDS MANY Let the Earth Rejoice 1The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the distant shores be glad.
2CLOUD AND THICK DARKNESS [ARE] AROUND HIM [IS] RIGHTEOUSNESS AND JUSTICE [THE] FOUNDATION OF THRONE HIS 2Clouds and darkness surround Him; righteousness and justice are His throne’s foundation.
3FIRE <TO> BEFORE HIM IT GOES AND IT MAY BURN UP ALL AROUND OPPONENTS HIS 3Fire goes before Him and consumes His foes on every side.
4THEY LIGHT UP LIGHTNING FLASHES HIS [THE] WORLD IT SEES AND IT TREMBLED THE EARTH 4His lightning illuminates the world; the earth sees and trembles.
5MOUNTAINS LIKE <THE> WAX THEY MELT FROM TO BEFORE YAHWEH FROM TO BEFORE [THE] LORD OF ALL THE EARTH 5The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.
6THEY DECLARE THE HEAVENS RIGHTEOUSNESS HIS AND THEY SEE ALL THE PEOPLES GLORY HIS 6The heavens proclaim His righteousness; all the peoples see His glory.
7LET THEM BE ASHAMED ALL [THOSE WHO] SERVE <OF> AN IMAGE THOSE [WHO] BOAST IN <THE> WORTHLESS IDOLS BOW DOWN TO HIM O ALL GODS 7All worshipers of images are put to shame— those who boast in idols. Worship Him, all you gods!
8IT HEARS AND IT REJOICED ZION AND THEY WERE GLAD [THE] DAUGHTERS OF JUDAH ON ACCOUNT OF JUDGMENTS YOUR O YAHWEH 8Zion hears and rejoices, and the towns of Judah exult because of Your judgments, O LORD.
9FOR YOU O YAHWEH [ARE] MOST HIGH OVER ALL THE EARTH EXCEEDINGLY YOU ARE EXALTED ABOVE ALL GODS 9For You, O LORD, are Most High over all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.
10O [YOU WHO] LOVE <OF> YAHWEH HATE EVIL [HE IS] PROTECTING [THE] LIVES OF FAITHFUL [PEOPLE] HIS FROM [THE] HAND OF WICKED [PEOPLE] HE DELIVERS THEM 10Hate evil, O you who love the LORD! He preserves the souls of His saints; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.
11LIGHT [IS] SOWN FOR THE RIGHTEOUS AND FOR [PEOPLE] UPRIGHT OF HEART JOY 11Light shines*NoteCloseOne Hebrew manuscript, LXX, Syriac, and Vulgate; most Hebrew manuscripts Light is sown on the righteous, gladness on the upright in heart.
12REJOICE O RIGHTEOUS [PEOPLE] IN YAHWEH AND GIVE THANKS TO [THE] REMEMBRANCE OF HOLINESS HIS 12Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous ones, and praise His holy name.
