8AND WAS FILLED THE TEMPLE WITH SMOKE FROM THE GLORY <THE> OF GOD AND FROM THE POWER OF HIM, AND NO [ONE] WAS ABLE TO ENTER INTO THE TEMPLE UNTIL MAY BE COMPLETED THE SEVEN PLAGUES OF THE SEVEN ANGELS. 8And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from His power; and no one could enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed.
1AND I HEARD [A] LOUD VOICE FROM THE TEMPLE SAYING TO THE SEVEN ANGELS; DO GO AND DO POUR OUT THE SEVEN BOWLS OF THE WRATH <THE> OF GOD INTO THE EARTH. The First Six Bowls of Wrath 1Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out on the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath. ”
2AND DEPARTED THE FIRST AND POURED OUT THE BOWL OF HIM INTO THE EARTH, AND CAME A SORE HARM AND GRIEVOUS UPON THE MEN THOSE HAVING THE MARK OF THE BEAST AND THOSE WORSHIPING THE IMAGE OF IT. 2So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and loathsome, malignant sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
3AND THE SECOND ANGEL POURED OUT THE BOWL OF HIM INTO THE SEA, AND IT BECAME BLOOD AS OF [ONE] DEAD, AND EVERY SOUL LIVING DIED THAT WAS IN THE SEA. 3And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood like that of the dead, and every living thing in the sea died.
4AND THE THIRD ANGEL POURED OUT THE BOWL OF HIM INTO THE RIVERS AND INTO THE SPRINGS OF THE WATERS, AND THEY BECAME BLOOD. 4And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they turned to blood.
5AND I HEARD THE ANGEL OF THE WATERS SAYING: RIGHTEOUS O LORD ARE, YOU WHO [ARE] BEING AND WHO WAS BEING AND O HOLY ONE, BECAUSE THESE THINGS YOU HAVE JUDGED, 5And I heard the angel of the waters say: “Righteous are You, O Holy One, who is and was, because You have brought these judgments.
6BECAUSE [THE] BLOOD OF SAINTS AND OF PROPHETS THEY HAVE POURED OUT, AND BLOOD TO THEM YOU HAVE GIVEN TO DRINK; WORTHY FOR THEY ARE. 6For they have spilled the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, as they deserve. ”
7AND I HEARD OTHER FROM THE ALTAR SAYING: YES LORD O GOD <THE> ALMIGHTY, TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS [ARE] THE JUDGMENTS OF YOU. 7And I heard the altar reply: “Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Your judgments. ”
8AND THE FOURTH ANGEL POURED OUT THE BOWL OF HIM UPON THE SUN, AND THERE WAS GIVEN TO IT TO SCORCH <THE> MEN WITH FIRE. 8Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire.
9AND WERE SCORCHED THE MEN WITH HEAT GREAT AND THEY DENIGRATED THE PEOPLE THE NAME <THE> OF GOD WHO IS HAVING <THE> AUTHORITY OVER <THE> PLAGUES THESE AND NOT DID THEY REPENT TO GIVE HIM GLORY. 9And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues. Yet they did not repent and give Him glory.
10AND THE FIFTH ANGEL POURED OUT THE BOWL OF HIM UPON THE THRONE OF THE BEAST, AND BECAME THE KINGDOM OF IT DARKENED, AND THEY WERE GNAWING THE TONGUES OF THEM FOR THE DISTRESS 10And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and men began to gnaw their tongues in anguish
11AND THEY BLASPHEMED THE GOD <THE> OF HEAVEN ON ACCOUNT OF THE DISTRESSES OF THEM AND ON ACCOUNT OF THE SORES OF THEM AND NOT THEY DID REPENT OF THE WORKS OF THEM. 11and curse the God of heaven for their pains and sores. Yet they did not repent of their deeds.
12AND THE SIXTH ANGEL POURED OUT THE BOWL OF HIM UPON THE RIVER <THE> GREAT <THE> EUPHRATES, AND WAS DRIED UP THE WATER OF IT SO THAT MAY BE PREPARED THE WAY OF THE KINGS <THE> FROM THE RISING OF THE SUN. 12And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East.
13AND I SAW [COMING] OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE DRAGON AND OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE BEAST AND OUT OF THE MOUTH OF THE FALSE PROPHET SPIRITS THREE UNCLEAN AS FROGS. 13And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
14THEY ARE FOR SPIRITS OF DEMONS PERFORMING SIGNS WHICH GO FORTH TO THE KINGS OF THE EARTH AND OF THE INHABITED [WORLD] WHOLE TO GATHER TOGETHER THEM UNTO THE BATTLE OF THE DAY THAT [ONE] THE GREAT [DAY] <THE> OF GOD THE ALMIGHTY. 14These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.
15BEHOLD I AM COMING LIKE A THIEF. BLESSED [IS] THE [ONE] WATCHING AND KEEPING THE GARMENTS OF HIM, SO THAT NOT NAKED HE MAY WALK AND THEY MAY SEE THE SHAME OF HIM. 15“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed. ”
16AND HE GATHERED TOGETHER THEM UNTO THE PLACE WHICH IS BEING CALLED IN HEBREW ARMAGEDDON. 16And they assembled the kings in the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
17AND THE SEVENTH ANGEL POURED OUT THE BOWL OF HIM UPON THE AIR, AND CAME OUT A VOICE LOUD FROM THE TEMPLE OF THE HEAVEN FROM THE THRONE SAYING; IT HAS BEEN DONE! The Seventh Bowl of Wrath 17Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne in the temple, saying, “It is done! ”
18AND THERE WERE FLASHES OF LIGHTNING AND VOICES AND THUNDERS AND AN EARTHQUAKE THERE WAS GREAT SUCH AS NOT HAD THERE BEEN SINCE WHEN <THE> MAN WAS UPON THE EARTH, SO GREAT [WAS THE] EARTHQUAKE SO MIGHTY. 18And there were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, and a great earthquake the likes of which had not occurred since men were upon the earth— so mighty was the great quake.
19AND WAS [SPLIT] THE CITY <THE> GREAT INTO THREE PARTS, AND THE CITIES OF THE NATIONS FELL. AND BABYLON THE GREAT WAS REMEMBERED BEFORE <THE> GOD TO GIVE TO HER THE CUP OF THE WINE OF THE FURY THE WRATH OF HIM. 19The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. And God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.
20AND EVERY ISLAND FLED, AND MOUNTAINS NOT WERE TO BE FOUND. 20Then every island fled, and no mountain could be found.
21AND A HAIL GREAT ABOUT A TALENT WEIGHT COMES DOWN OUT OF <THE> HEAVEN UPON THE MEN. AND BLASPHEMED THE MEN <THE> GOD ON ACCOUNT OF THE PLAGUE OF THE HAIL, FOR SEVERE IS THE PLAGUE OF IT EXCEEDINGLY. 21And great hailstones weighing almost a hundred pounds each*NoteCloseGreek great hail as of a talent; that is, hailstones weighing approximately 75.4 pounds or 34.2 kilograms each rained down on them from above. And men cursed God for the plague of hail, because it was so horrendous.
