15AND SAYING; MEN, WHY THESE THINGS DO YOU? ALSO WE OURSELVES OF LIKE NATURE ARE WITH YOU MEN, EVANGELISING TO YOU FROM THESE <THE> VANITIES TO TURN TO <THE> GOD WHO IS LIVING, WHO MADE THE HEAVEN AND THE EARTH AND THE SEA AND ALL THE [THINGS] IN THEM, 15“Men, why are you doing this? We too are only men, human like you. We are bringing you good news that you should turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them.
16WHO IN THE HAVING PAST GENERATIONS ALLOWED ALL THE NATIONS TO GO IN THE WAYS OF THEM; 16In past generations, He let all nations go their own way.
17AND YET NOT WITHOUT WITNESS HIMSELF HE HAS LEFT DOING GOOD, FROM HEAVEN TO YOU RAINS GIVING AND SEASONS FRUITFUL, FILLING WITH FOOD AND GLADNESS THE HEARTS OF YOU. 17Yet He has not left Himself without testimony to His goodness: He gives you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling your hearts with food and gladness. ”
18AND THESE THINGS SAYING HARDLY THEY STOPPED THE CROWDS <THE> NOT SACRIFICING TO THEM. 18Even with these words, Paul and Barnabas could hardly stop the crowds from sacrificing to them.
