3I WILL BEAR KNOWLEDGE MY <TO> FROM AFAR AND TO MAKER MY I WILL ASCRIBE RIGHTEOUSNESS 3I get my knowledge from afar, and I will ascribe justice to my Maker.
4FOR TRULY NOT [ARE] FALSEHOOD WORDS MY [ONE] COMPLETE OF KNOWLEDGE<S> [IS] WITH YOU 4For truly my words are free of falsehood; one perfect in knowledge is with you.
5THERE! GOD [IS] MIGHTY AND NOT HE REJECTS MIGHTY STRENGTH OF HEART 5Indeed, God is mighty, but He despises no one; He is mighty in strength of understanding.
6NOT HE PRESERVES ALIVE [THE] WICKED AND [THE] JUSTICE OF AFFLICTED [PEOPLE] HE GIVES 6He does not keep the wicked alive, but He grants justice to the afflicted.
7NOT HE WITHDRAWS FROM [THE] RIGHTEOUS EYES HIS AND WITH KINGS TO THE THRONE AND HE HAS MADE SIT THEM TO PERPETUITY AND THEY HAVE BECOME EXALTED 7He does not take His eyes off the righteous, but He enthrones them with kings and exalts them forever.
8AND IF [THEY ARE] BOUND IN <THE> FETTERS THEY ARE CAUGHT! IN CORDS OF AFFLICTION 8And if men are bound with chains, caught in cords of affliction,
9AND HE TOLD TO THEM WORK THEIR AND TRANSGRESSIONS THEIR THAT THEY WERE BEHAVING PROUDLY 9then He tells them their deeds and how arrogantly they have transgressed.
10AND HE UNCOVERED EAR THEIR FOR <THE> CORRECTION AND HE SAID THAT THEY WILL TURN AWAY! FROM WICKEDNESS 10He opens their ears to correction and commands that they turn from iniquity.
11IF THEY WILL HEAR AND THEY MAY SERVE [HIM] THEY WILL BRING TO AN END DAYS THEIR IN <THE> GOOD AND YEARS THEIR IN <THE> PLEASANT [THINGS] 11If they obey and serve Him, then they end their days in prosperity and their years in happiness.
12AND IF NOT THEY WILL HEAR BY A MISSILE THEY WILL PASS AWAY AND THEY MAY EXPIRE LIKE NOT KNOWLEDGE 12But if they do not obey, then they perish by the sword*NoteCloseOr they will cross the river of death and die without knowledge.
13AND [PEOPLE] GODLESS OF HEART THEY PUT ANGER NOT THEY CRY FOR HELP IF HE HAS BOUND THEM 13The godless in heart harbor resentment; even when He binds them, they do not cry for help.
14IT DIES IN <THE> YOUTH SELF THEIR AND LIFE THEIR AMONG THE TEMPLE PROSTITUTES 14They die in their youth, among the male shrine prostitutes.
15HE RESCUES [THE] AFFLICTED BY AFFLICTION HIS AND HE UNCOVERS BY <THE> OPPRESSION EAR THEIR 15God rescues the afflicted by their affliction*NoteCloseOr in their affliction and opens their ears in oppression.
16AND ALSO HE HAS ALLURED YOU FROM [THE] MOUTH OF ENEMY A BROAD PLACE NOT CONSTRAINT IN PLACE ITS AND [THE] QUIETNESS OF TABLE YOUR IT WAS FULL FATNESS 16Indeed, He drew you from the jaws of distress to a spacious and broad place, to a table full of richness.
17AND JUDGMENT OF [THE] WICKED YOU ARE FULL JUDGMENT AND JUSTICE THEY TAKE HOLD OF [YOU] 17But now you are laden with the judgment due the wicked; judgment and justice have seized you.
18FOR RAGE LEST IT SHOULD ENTICE YOU IN MOCKERY AND [THE] GREATNESS OF [THE] RANSOM MAY NOT IT TURN ASIDE YOU 18Be careful that no one lures you with riches; do not let a large bribe lead you astray.
19¿ WILL IT SET IN ORDER OPULENCE YOUR NOT IN DISTRESS AND ALL [THE] EFFORTS OF STRENGTH 19Can your wealth*NoteCloseOr your cry for help or all your mighty effort keep you from distress?
20MAY NOT YOU LONG FOR THE NIGHT TO GO UP PEOPLES IN PLACE THEIR 20Do not long for the night, when people vanish from their homes.
21TAKE HEED MAY NOT YOU TURN TO WICKEDNESS FOR <ON> THIS YOU HAVE CHOSEN MORE THAN AFFLICTION 21Be careful not to turn to iniquity, for this you have preferred to affliction.
22THERE! GOD HE IS EXALTED IN POWER HIS WHO? LIKE HIM [IS] A TEACHER 22Behold, God is exalted in His power. Who is a teacher like Him?
23WHO? HAS HE ASSIGNED ON HIM WAY HIS AND WHO? HAS HE SAID YOU HAVE DONE UNRIGHTEOUSNESS 23Who has appointed His way for Him, or told Him, ‘You have done wrong’?
24REMEMBER THAT YOU WILL MAGNIFY WORK HIS WHICH THEY HAVE SUNG PEOPLE 24Remember to magnify His work, which men have praised in song.
25ALL HUMANKIND THEY HAVE LOOKED ON IT HUMAN[S] HE LOOKS FROM A DISTANCE 25All mankind has seen it; men behold it from afar.
26THERE! GOD [IS] EXALTED AND NOT WE KNOW [HIM] [THE] NUMBER OF YEARS HIS AND NOT INQUIRY 26Indeed, God is great— beyond our knowledge; the number of His years is unsearchable.
27FOR HE DRAWS UP DROPS OF WATER THEY REFINE RAIN TO MIST ITS 27For He draws up drops of water which distill the rain from the mist,
28WHICH THEY FLOW [THE] CLOUDS THEY DRIP ON HUMANKIND NUMEROUS 28which the clouds pour out and shower abundantly on mankind.
29ALSO IF ANYONE UNDERSTANDS [THE] SPREADING OUT<S> OF DARK CLOUD [THE] CRASHES OF PAVILION HIS 29Furthermore, who can understand how the clouds spread out, how the thunder roars from His pavilion?
30THERE! HE SPREADS OUT ON HIM LIGHT HIS AND [THE] ROOTS OF THE SEA HE COVERS 30See how He scatters His lightning around Him and covers the depths of the sea.
31FOR BY THEM HE JUDGES PEOPLES HE GIVES FOOD TO ABUNDANCE 31For by these He judges*NoteCloseOr governs or nourishes the nations and provides food in abundance.
32OVER PALMS OF HANDS HE COVERS LIGHT AND HE COMMANDED TO IT IN AN ASSAILANT 32He fills His hands with lightning and commands it to strike its mark.
33IT TELLS ON HIM ROAR HIS LIVESTOCK ALSO ON [ONE WHO] COMES UP 33The thunder declares His presence; even the cattle regard the rising storm. [’’]
