25A RIGHTEOUS [PERSON] [IS] EATING TO [THE] SATIETY OF APPETITE HIS AND [THE] BELLY OF WICKED [PEOPLE] IT IS LACKING 25A righteous man eats to his heart’s content, but the stomach of the wicked is empty.
1WISE [WOMEN] OF WOMEN SHE BUILDS HOUSE HER AND A FOOLISH WOMAN WITH HANDS HER SHE TEARS DOWN IT The Wise Woman 1Every wise woman builds her house, but a foolish one tears it down with her own hands.
2[ONE WHO] WALKS IN UPRIGHTNESS HIS [IS ONE] FEARING <OF> YAHWEH AND [THE] [ONE WHO] IS CROOKED OF WAYS HIS [IS] DESPISING HIM 2He who walks in uprightness fears the LORD, but the one who is devious in his ways despises Him.
3[IS] IN [THE] MOUTH OF A FOOL A SHOOT OF PRIDE AND [THE] LIPS OF WISE [PEOPLE] IT PRESERVES THEM 3The proud speech of a fool brings a rod to his back, but the lips of the wise protect them.
4WHEN THERE NOT [ARE] CATTLE<S> [THE] FEEDING TROUGH [IS] CLEAN AND ABUNDANCE OF PRODUCE<S> [IS] BY [THE] STRENGTH OF AN OX 4Where there are no oxen, the manger is empty, but an abundant harvest comes through the strength of the ox.
5A WITNESS OF FAITHFULNESS<ES> NOT HE TELLS LIES AND HE MAY BREATHE OUT LIES A WITNESS OF FALSEHOOD 5An honest witness does not deceive, but a dishonest witness pours forth lies.
6HE SEEKS A MOCKER WISDOM AND THERE [IS] NOT AND KNOWLEDGE TO A DISCERNING [PERSON] IT IS TRIFLING 6A mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning.
7GO FROM BEFORE TO A PERSON A FOOL AND NOT YOU HAVE KNOWN LIPS OF KNOWLEDGE 7Stay away from a foolish man; you will gain no knowledge from his speech.
8[THE] WISDOM OF A SENSIBLE [PERSON] [IS] TO UNDERSTAND OWN WAY HIS AND [THE] FOOLISHNESS OF FOOLS [IS] DECEIT 8The wisdom of the prudent is to discern his way, but the folly of fools deceives them.
9FOOLS HE MOCKS GUILT AND [IS] BETWEEN UPRIGHT [PEOPLE] FAVOR 9Fools mock the making of amends, but goodwill is found among the upright.
10A HEART [IS] KNOWING [THE] BITTERNESS OF OWN SELF ITS AND IN JOY ITS NOT HE SHARES A STRANGER 10The heart knows its own bitterness, and no stranger shares in its joy.
11[THE] HOUSE OF WICKED [PEOPLE] IT WILL BE DESTROYED AND [THE] TENT OF UPRIGHT [PEOPLE] IT WILL FLOURISH 11The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.
12THERE [IS] A WAY RIGHT <TO> BEFORE A PERSON AND END ITS [IS THE] WAYS OF DEATH 12There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.
13ALSO IN LAUGHTER IT IS IN PAIN A HEART AND END ITS JOY [MAY BE] GRIEF 13Even in laughter the heart may ache, and joy may end in sorrow.
14FROM WAYS HIS HE WILL BE SATISFIED [ONE] BACKSLIDDEN OF HEART AND FROM WITH <THE> HIMSELF A PERSON GOOD 14The backslider in heart receives the fill of his own ways, but a good man is rewarded for his ways.
15A NAIVE PERSON HE BELIEVES <TO> EVERY THING AND A SENSIBLE [PERSON] HE CONSIDERS <TO> STEP HIS 15The simple man believes every word, but the prudent man watches his steps.
16A WISE [PERSON] [IS] FEARING AND [IS] TURNING ASIDE FROM EVIL AND A FOOL [IS] ARROGANT AND [IS] CONFIDENT 16A wise man fears*NoteCloseOr fears the LORD and turns from evil, but a fool is careless and reckless.

19THEY BOW EVIL [PEOPLE] <TO> BEFORE GOOD [PEOPLE] AND WICKED [PEOPLE] AT [THE] GATES OF [THE] RIGHTEOUS 19The evil bow before the good, and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.
20ALSO BY NEIGHBOR HIS HE IS HATED A POOR [PERSON] AND [THOSE WHO] LOVE <OF> [THE] RICH [ARE] MANY 20The poor man is hated even by his neighbor, but many are those who love the rich.
21[ONE WHO] DESPISES <TO> NEIGHBOR HIS [IS] SINNING AND [ONE WHO] SHOWS FAVOR TO HUMBLE [PEOPLE] HOW BLESSED [IS] HE 21He who despises his neighbor sins, but blessed is he who shows kindness to the poor.
22¿ NOT DO THEY GO ASTRAY DEVISERS OF EVIL AND LOYALTY AND FAITHFULNESS DEVISERS OF GOOD 22Do not those who contrive evil go astray? But those who plan goodness find*NoteCloseOr show loving devotion and faithfulness.
23IN ALL HARD LABOR IT IS PROFIT AND WORD OF LIPS ONLY TO POVERTY 23There is profit in all labor, but mere talk leads only to poverty.

25[IS] DELIVERING LIVES A WITNESS OF RELIABILITY SO HE MAY BREATHE OUT LIES DECEIT 25A truthful witness saves lives, but one who utters lies is deceitful.
26[IS] IN [THE] FEAR OF YAHWEH CONFIDENCE OF STRENGTH AND TO CHILDREN HIS IT WILL BELONG A REFUGE 26He who fears the LORD is secure in confidence, and his children shall have a place of refuge.
27[THE] FEAR OF YAHWEH [IS] A FOUNTAIN OF LIFE TO TURN ASIDE FROM [THE] SNARES OF DEATH 27The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death.
28[IS] IN [THE] MULTITUDE OF A PEOPLE [THE] GLORY OF A KING AND IN NOT A PEOPLE [THE] RUIN OF A RULER 28A large population is a king’s splendor, but a lack of subjects is a prince’s ruin.

30[IS] [THE] LIFE OF BODIES A HEART OF HEALING AND [IS] ROTTENNESS OF BONES JEALOUSY 30A tranquil heart is life to the body, but envy rots the bones.

32BY WICKEDNESS HIS HE IS PUSHED DOWN A WICKED [PERSON] AND [IS] SEEKING REFUGE IN DEATH HIS A RIGHTEOUS [PERSON] 32The wicked man is thrown down by his own sin, but the righteous man has a refuge even in death.
