20I HAVE FOUND DAVID SERVANT MY WITH [THE] OIL OF HOLINESS MY I HAVE ANOINTED HIM 20I have found My servant David; with My sacred oil I have anointed him.
21WHOM HAND MY IT WILL BE STEADFAST WITH HIM ALSO ARM MY IT WILL STRENGTHEN HIM 21My hand will sustain him; surely My arm will strengthen him.
22NOT HE WILL DECEIVE AN ENEMY <IN> HIM AND A SON OF INJUSTICE NOT HE WILL AFFLICT HIM 22No enemy will exact tribute no wicked man will oppress him.
23AND I WILL CRUSH FROM BEFORE HIM OPPONENTS HIS AND [THOSE WHO] HATE HIM I WILL STRIKE DOWN 23I will crush his foes before him and strike down those who hate him.
24AND FAITHFULNESS MY AND COVENANT LOYALTY MY [WILL BE] WITH HIM AND IN NAME MY IT WILL BE EXALTED HORN HIS 24My faithfulness and loving devotion will be with him, and through My name his horn will be exalted.

28FOR EVER I WILL KEEP TO HIM COVENANT LOYALTY MY AND COVENANT MY [WILL BE] RELIABLE TO HIM 28I will forever preserve My loving devotion for him, and My covenant with him will stand fast.
29AND I WILL ESTABLISH FOR EVER OFFSPRING HIS AND THRONE HIS LIKE [THE] DAYS OF [THE] HEAVENS 29I will establish his line forever, his throne as long as the heavens endure.
30IF THEY WILL FORSAKE SONS HIS LAW MY AND IN JUDGMENTS MY NOT THEY WILL WALK! 30If his sons forsake My law and do not walk in My judgments,
31IF STATUTES MY THEY WILL VIOLATE AND COMMANDMENTS MY NOT THEY WILL KEEP 31if they violate My statutes and fail to keep My commandments,
32AND I WILL PUNISH WITH A ROD TRANSGRESSION THEIR AND WITH PLAGUES INIQUITY THEIR 32I will attend to their transgression with the rod, and to their iniquity with stripes.
33AND COVENANT LOYALTY MY NOT I WILL BREAK OFF FROM WITH <THE> HIM AND NOT I WILL DEAL FALSELY WITH FAITHFULNESS MY 33But I will not withdraw My loving devotion from him, nor ever betray My faithfulness.
34NOT I WILL VIOLATE COVENANT MY AND [THE] UTTERANCE OF LIPS MY NOT I WILL CHANGE 34I will not violate My covenant or alter the utterance of My lips.
35ONE [TIME] I HAVE SWORN AN OATH BY HOLINESS MY IF TO DAVID I WILL LIE 35Once and for all I have sworn by My holiness— I will not lie to David—
