24AND IN HER [THE] BLOOD OF PROPHETS AND OF SAINTS WAS FOUND AND OF ALL THOSE SLAIN ON THE EARTH. 24And there was found in her the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who had been slain on the earth.
1AND AFTER THESE THINGS I HEARD [SOMETHING] LIKE A VOICE LOUD OF A MULTITUDE GREAT IN <THE> HEAVEN CRYING OUT: HALLELUJAH! THE SALVATION AND THE GLORY AND THE HONOR AND THE POWER TO LORD <THE> GOD OF US! Rejoicing in Heaven 1After this I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude in heaven, shouting: “Hallelujah!*NoteCloseHallelujah is a transliteration of the Hebrew Hallelu YAH, meaning Praise the LORD; also in verses 3, 4, and 6. Salvation and glory and power belong to our God!
2FOR TRUE AND RIGHTEOUS [ARE] THE JUDGMENTS OF HIM, BECAUSE HE HAS JUDGED THE PROSTITUTE <THE> GREAT WHO WAS CORRUPTING THE EARTH WITH THE SEXUAL IMMORALITY OF HER, AND HE HAS AVENGED THE BLOOD OF THE SERVANTS OF HIM OUT OF THE HAND OF HER. 2For His judgments are true and just. He has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality. He has avenged the blood of His servants that was poured out by her hand. ”
3AND A SECOND TIME THEY HAVE SAID: HALLELUJAH! AND THE SMOKE OF HER GOES UP TO THE AGES OF THE AGES. 3And a second time they called out: “Hallelujah! Her smoke rises forever and ever. ”
4AND FELL DOWN THE ELDERS <THE> TWENTY AND FOUR AND THE FOUR LIVING CREATURES, AND THEY WORSHIPED <THE> GOD WHO IS SITTING ON THE THRONE SAYING: AMEN HALLELUJAH! 4And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying: “Amen, Hallelujah! ”
5AND A VOICE FROM THE THRONE CAME FORTH SAYING: DO PRAISE TO THE GOD OF US ALL YOU WHO [ARE] SERVANTS OF HIM AND YOU WHO [ARE] FEARING HIM, AND YOU SMALL AND YOU GREAT! 5Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you who serve Him, and those who fear Him, small and great alike! ”
6AND I HEARD [SOMETHING] LIKE [THE] VOICE OF A MULTITUDE GREAT AND LIKE [THE] SOUND OF WATERS MANY AND LIKE A SOUND OF THUNDERS MIGHTY SAYING: HALLELUJAH! FOR HAS REIGNED [THE] LORD <THE> GOD OF US THE ALMIGHTY. The Marriage of the Lamb 6And I heard a sound like the roar of a great multitude, like the rushing of many waters, and like a mighty rumbling of thunder, crying out: “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God*NoteCloseSBL, BYZ, and TR the Lord God the Almighty reigns.
7WE MAY REJOICE AND WE MAY EXULT AND WE MAY GIVE THE GLORY TO HIM, BECAUSE HAS COME THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB, AND THE BRIDE OF HIM HAS MADE READY HERSELF. 7Let us rejoice and be glad and give Him the glory. For the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready.
8AND IT WAS GIVEN TO HER THAT SHE MAY BE CLOTHED IN FINE LINEN BRIGHT AND PURE; <THE> FOR THE FINE LINEN THE RIGHTEOUS ACTS OF THE SAINTS IS. 8She was given clothing of fine linen, bright and pure. ” For the fine linen she wears is the righteous acts of the saints.
9AND HE SAYS TO ME; DO WRITE; BLESSED [ARE] THOSE TO THE SUPPER OF THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB INVITED. AND HE SAYS TO ME; THESE THE WORDS TRUE <THE> OF GOD ARE. 9Then the angel told me to write, “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb. ” And he said to me, “These are the true words of God. ”
10AND I FELL BEFORE THE FEET OF HIM TO WORSHIP HIM, AND HE SAYS TO ME; DO SEE [THAT] YOU [DO] NOT, A FELLOW SERVANT WITH YOU I AM AND THE BROTHERS OF YOU WHO ARE HOLDING THE TESTIMONY <THE> OF JESUS; <THE> GOD DO WORSHIP. THE FOR TESTIMONY <THE> OF JESUS IS THE SPIRIT <THE> OF PROPHECY. 10So I fell at his feet to worship him. But he told me, “Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who rely on the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. ”
11AND I SAW <THE> HEAVEN OPENED AND BEHOLD A HORSE WHITE AND THE [ONE] SITTING UPON IT BEING CALLED FAITHFUL AND TRUE, AND IN RIGHTEOUSNESS HE JUDGES AND MAKES WAR; The Rider on the White Horse 11Then I saw heaven standing open, and there before me was a white horse. And its rider is called Faithful and True. With righteousness He judges and wages war.
12<THE> AND THE EYES OF HIM [ARE] LIKE A FLAME OF FIRE AND UPON THE HEAD OF HIM ROYAL CROWNS MANY HAVING NAMES WRITTEN AND A NAME WRITTEN WHICH NO [ONE] KNOWS ONLY EXCEPT HE HIMSELF 12He has eyes like blazing fire, and many royal crowns on His head. He has a name written on Him that only He Himself knows.
13AND HAVING CLOTHED THEMSELVES WITH A GARMENT DIPPED IN BLOOD, AND HAS BEEN CALLED THE NAME OF HIM THE WORD <THE> OF GOD. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood,*NoteCloseWH sprinkled with blood and His name is The Word of God.
14AND THE ARMIES WHO WERE IN <THE> HEAVEN WERE FOLLOWING AFTER HIM UPON HORSES WHITE HAVING CLOTHED THEMSELVES IN FINE LINEN WHITE AND PURE. 14The armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, white and pure, follow Him on white horses.
15AND OUT OF THE MOUTH OF HIM GOES FORTH A SWORD TWO-EDGED SHARP, SO THAT WITH IT HE MAY STRIKE DOWN THE NATIONS. AND HE HIMSELF WILL SHEPHERD THEM WITH A ROD OF IRON AND HE HIMSELF TREADS THE PRESS OF THE WINE OF THE FURY AND OF THE WRATH <THE> OF GOD THE ALMIGHTY. 15And from His mouth proceeds a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and He will rule them with an iron scepter.*NoteCloseSee Psalm 2:9 (see also LXX). He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty.
16AND HE HAS UPON THE ROBE AND UPON THE THIGH OF HIM <THE> A NAME WRITTEN: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. 16And He has a name written on His robe and on His thigh: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. </div>
17AND I SAW ONE ANGEL STANDING IN THE SUN, AND HE CRIED OUT IN A VOICE LOUD SAYING TO ALL THE BIRDS WHO ARE FLYING IN MID-HEAVEN; COME AND DO BE GATHERED UNTO THE SUPPER <THE> GREAT <THE> OF GOD, Defeat of the Beast and False Prophet 17Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice to all the birds flying overhead, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God,
18SO THAT YOU MAY EAT [THE] FLESH OF KINGS AND [THE] FLESH OF COMMANDERS AND [THE] FLESH OF MIGHTY [MEN] AND [THE] FLESH OF HORSES AND OF THOSE SITTING ON THEM AND [THE] FLESH OF ALL, FREE BOTH AND SLAVES AND SMALL BOTH AND GREAT. 18so that you may eat the flesh of kings and commanders and mighty men, of horses and riders of everyone slave and free, small and great. ”
19AND I SAW THE BEAST AND THE KINGS OF THE EARTH AND THE ARMIES OF THEM GATHERED TOGETHER TO MAKE <THE> WAR WITH THE [ONE] SITTING ON THE HORSE AND WITH THE ARMY OF HIM. 19Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies assembled to wage war against the One seated on the horse, and against His army.
20AND WAS CAPTURED THE BEAST, AND WITH HIM <THE> FALSE PROPHET THE [ONE] HAVING DONE THE SIGNS BEFORE HIM, BY WHICH HE DECEIVED THOSE HAVING RECEIVED THE MARK OF THE BEAST AND THOSE WORSHIPING THE IMAGE OF IT. LIVING WERE CAST THE TWO INTO THE LAKE <THE> OF FIRE WHICH IS BURNING WITH <THE> BRIMSTONE. 20But the beast was captured along with the false prophet, who on its behalf had performed signs deceiving those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. Both the beast and the false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
21AND THE REST WERE KILLED WITH THE SWORD OF THE [ONE] SITTING ON THE HORSE <THE> HAVING GONE OUT OUT OF THE MOUTH OF HIM. AND ALL THE BIRDS WERE FILLED WITH THE FLESH OF THEM. 21And the rest were killed with the sword that proceeded from the mouth of the One seated on the horse. And all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.
