11WORTHY ARE YOU LORD AND THE GOD OF US, THE HOLY ONE TO RECEIVE <THE> GLORY AND <THE> HONOR AND <THE> POWER. FOR YOU YOURSELF CREATED <THE> ALL THINGS, AND BECAUSE OF THE WILL OF YOU THEY WERE EXISTING AND WERE CREATED. 11“Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things; by Your will they exist and were created. ”
1AND I SAW ON THE RIGHT HAND OF THE [ONE] SITTING UPON THE THRONE A SCROLL WRITTEN INSIDE AND ON [THE] BACK, SEALED WITH SEALS SEVEN. The Lamb Takes the Scroll 1Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the One seated on the throne. It had writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals.
2AND I SAW AN ANGEL STRONG PROCLAIMING IN A VOICE LOUD; WHO IS WORTHY TO OPEN THE SCROLL AND TO BREAK THE SEALS OF IT? 2And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll? ”
3AND NO [ONE] WAS ABLE IN <THE> HEAVEN ABOVE NOR UPON THE EARTH NOR UNDER THE EARTH TO OPEN THE SCROLL NOR TO SEE IT. 3But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or look inside it.
4AND I MYSELF I WAS WEEPING MUCH BECAUSE NO [ONE] WORTHY WAS FOUND TO OPEN AND TO READ THE SCROLL NOR TO SEE IT. 4And I began to weep bitterly, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or look inside it.
5AND ONE OF THE ELDERS SAYS TO ME; NOT DO WEEP. BEHOLD HAS OVERCOME THE LION WHO IS BEING OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH, THE ROOT OF DAVID, THE [ONE] TO OPEN THE SCROLL AND TO UNTIE THE SEVEN SEALS OF IT. 5Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed to open the scroll and its seven seals. ”
6AND I SAW AND BEHOLD IN [THE] MIDST OF THE THRONE AND OF THE FOUR LIVING CREATURES AND IN [THE] MIDST OF THE ELDERS A LAMB STANDING AS SLAIN HAVING HORNS SEVEN AND EYES SEVEN WHICH ARE THE SEVEN SPIRITS <THE> OF GOD WHICH SENT OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH. 6Then I saw a Lamb who appeared to have been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the seven spirits*NoteCloseOr the sevenfold Spirit of God sent out into all the earth.
7AND HE CAME AND HE HAS TAKEN <THE> SCROLL OUT OF THE RIGHT HAND OF THE [ONE] SITTING ON THE THRONE. 7And He came and took the scroll from the right hand of the One seated on the throne.
8AND WHEN HE HAD TAKEN THE SCROLL, THE FOUR LIVING CREATURES AND THE TWENTY FOUR ELDERS FELL DOWN BEFORE THE LAMB HAVING EACH A HARP AND BOWLS GOLDEN BEING FULL OF INCENSES WHICH ARE THE PRAYERS OF THE SAINTS. 8When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp, and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
9AND THEY ARE SINGING A SONG NEW SAYING; WORTHY ARE YOU TO TAKE THE SCROLL AND TO OPEN THE SEALS OF IT, BECAUSE YOU WERE SLAIN AND YOU PURCHASED <THE> TO GOD OF US BY THE BLOOD OF YOU OUT OF EVERY TRIBE AND TONGUE AND PEOPLE AND NATION 9And they sang a new song: “Worthy are You to take the scroll and open its seals, because You were slain, and by Your blood You purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.
10AND YOU HAVE MADE THEM TO THE GOD OF US A KINGDOM AND PRIESTS, AND THEY WILL REIGN UPON THE EARTH. 10You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign upon*NoteCloseOr they will reign over; WH they reign upon the earth. ”
11AND I LOOKED AND I HEARD LIKE [THE] VOICE OF ANGELS MANY SURROUNDING THE THRONE AND OF THE LIVING CREATURES AND OF THE ELDERS. AND WAS THE NUMBER OF THEM MYRIADS OF MYRIADS AND THOUSANDS OF THOUSANDS The Lamb Exalted 11Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels encircling the throne, and the living creatures and the elders. And their number was myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands.
12SAYING IN A VOICE LOUD: WORTHY IS THE LAMB WHICH SLAIN TO RECEIVE THE POWER AND <THE> RICHES AND WISDOM AND STRENGTH AND HONOR AND GLORY AND BLESSING! 12In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing! ”
13AND EVERY CREATURE WHICH IS IN <THE> HEAVEN AND UPON THE EARTH AND UNDER THE EARTH AND ON THE SEA THAT IS AND <THE> IN THEM EVERYTHING I HEARD SAYING: TO THE [ONE] SITTING ON THE THRONE AND TO THE LAMB <THE> BLESSING AND <THE> HONOR AND <THE> GLORY AND <THE> MIGHT TO THE AGES OF THE AGES AMEN. 13And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power forever and ever! ”
14AND THE FOUR LIVING CREATURES WERE SAYING; <THE> AMEN. AND THE TWENTY FOUR ELDERS FELL DOWN AND THEY WORSHIPED [THE ONE] LIVING INTO THE AGES OF THE AGES. 14And the four living creatures said, “Amen, ” and the elders fell down and worshiped.*NoteCloseTR includes Him who lives for ever and ever.
