21AND I SAID WHAT? [ARE] THESE COMING TO DO AND HE SAID <TO> SAYING THESE [ARE] THE HORNS WHICH THEY SCATTERED <OBJ.> JUDAH ACCORDING TO [THE] MOUTH OF A MAN NOT HE LIFTED UP HEAD HIS AND THEY HAVE COME THESE [CRAFTSMEN] TO TERRIFY <OBJ.> THEM TO THROW DOWN <OBJ.> [THE] HORNS OF THE NATIONS WHICH LIFTED UP A HORN AGAINST [THE] LAND OF JUDAH TO SCATTER IT 21“What are these coming to do?” I asked. And He replied, “These are the horns that scattered Judah so that no one could raise his head; but the craftsmen have come to terrify them and throw down these horns of the nations that have lifted up their horns against the land of Judah to scatter it.”
1AND I LIFTED UP EYES MY AND I SAW AND THERE! A MAN AND [WAS] IN HAND HIS A CORD OF MEASUREMENT The Vision of the Measuring Line (Ezekiel 40:1–4) 1Then I lifted up my eyes and saw a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2AND I SAID WHERE? [ARE] YOU GOING AND HE SAID TO ME TO MEASURE <OBJ.> JERUSALEM TO SEE HOW MUCH? [IS] BREADTH ITS AND HOW MUCH? [IS] LENGTH ITS 2“Where are you going?” I asked. “To measure Jerusalem,” he replied, “and to determine its width and length.”
3AND THERE! THE ANGEL WHO WAS SPEAKING WITH ME [WAS] GOING OUT AND AN ANGEL ANOTHER [WAS] GOING OUT TO MEET HIM 3Then the angel who was speaking with me went forth, and another angel came forward to meet him
4AND HE SAID TO HIM RUN SPEAK TO THE YOUNG MAN THIS <TO> SAYING OPEN REGIONS IT WILL REMAIN JERUSALEM FROM [THE] MULTITUDE OF PERSON[S] AND LIVESTOCK IN [THE] MIDST OF IT 4and said to him, “Run and tell that young man: ‘Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the multitude of men and livestock within it.
5AND I I WILL BE TO IT [THE] UTTERANCE OF YAHWEH A WALL OF FIRE ALL AROUND AND <INTO> GLORY I WILL BECOME IN [THE] MIDDLE OF IT 5For I will be a wall of fire around it, declares the LORD, and I will be the glory within it.’”

ALAS! <AND> FLEE FROM [THE] LAND OF [THE] NORTH [THE] UTTERANCE OF YAHWEH THAT LIKE [THE] FOUR [THE] WINDS OF THE HEAVENS I HAVE SCATTERED <OBJ.> YOU [THE] UTTERANCE OF YAHWEH The Redemption of Zion (Hosea 3:1–5) 6“Get up! Get up! Flee from the land of the north,” declares the LORD, “for I have scattered you like the four winds of heaven,” declares the LORD.
7ALAS! O ZION ESCAPE O INHABITANT[S] OF [THE] DAUGHTER OF BABYLON 7“Get up, O Zion! Escape, you who dwell with the Daughter of Babylon!”
8FOR THUS HE SAYS YAHWEH OF HOSTS AFTER HONOR HE HAS SENT ME TO THE NATIONS WHO PLUNDERED <OBJ.> YOU FOR THE [ONE WHO] TOUCHES <IN> YOU [IS] TOUCHING <IN> [THE] PUPIL OF EYE HIS 8For this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “After His Glory has sent Me*NoteCloseOr After the Glorious One has sent Me or After He has honored Me and sent Me against the nations that have plundered you— for whoever touches you touches the apple*NoteCloseOr the pupil of His eye—
9FOR HERE I [AM] ABOUT TO BRANDISH <OBJ.> HAND MY ON THEM AND THEY WILL BE PLUNDER FOR OWN SLAVES THEIR AND YOU WILL KNOW THAT YAHWEH OF HOSTS HE HAS SENT ME 9I will surely wave My hand over them, so that they will become plunder for their own servants. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent Me.”
10SHOUT FOR JOY AND REJOICE O DAUGHTER OF ZION FOR HERE I [AM] ABOUT TO COME AND I WILL DWELL IN MIDST OF YOU [THE] UTTERANCE OF YAHWEH 10“Shout for joy and be glad, O Daughter of Zion, for I am coming to dwell among you,” declares the LORD.
11AND THEY WILL JOIN THEMSELVES NATIONS MANY TO YAHWEH IN THE DAY <THE> THAT AND THEY WILL BECOME FOR ME <INTO> A PEOPLE AND I WILL DWELL IN MIDST OF YOU AND YOU WILL KNOW THAT YAHWEH OF HOSTS HE HAS SENT ME TO YOU 11“On that day many nations will join themselves to the LORD, and they will become My people. I will dwell among you, and you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent Me to you.
12AND HE WILL INHERIT YAHWEH <OBJ.> JUDAH PORTION HIS ON [THE] LAND OF <THE> HOLINESS AND HE WILL CHOOSE AGAIN <IN> JERUSALEM 12And the LORD will take possession of Judah as His portion in the Holy Land, and He will once again choose Jerusalem.
13HUSH! O ALL FLESH FROM BEFORE YAHWEH FOR HE HAS ROUSED HIMSELF FROM [THE] DWELLING PLACE OF HOLINESS HIS 13Be silent before the LORD, all people, for He has roused Himself from His holy dwelling.”
