The Bronze Altar and Molten Sea
(1 Kings 7:23–26 )
1 He made a bronze altar twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and ten cubits high.
2 AND HE MADE <OBJ.> THE SEA CAST TEN BY THE CUBIT FROM LIP ITS TO LIP ITS ROUND ALL AROUND AND FIVE BY THE CUBIT HEIGHT ITS AND A MEASURING-LINE THIRTY BY THE CUBIT IT WENT ROUND <OBJ.> IT ALL AROUND
2 He also made the Sea of cast metal. It was circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim, five cubits in height, and thirty cubits in circumference.
3 AND [THE] LIKENESS OF OXEN [WAS] UNDER <TO> <THE> IT ALL AROUND ALL AROUND GOING ROUND <OBJ.> IT TEN BY THE CUBIT SURROUNDING <OBJ.> THE SEA ALL AROUND [WERE] TWO ROWS THE CATTLE CAST IN CASTING ITS
3 Below the rim, figures of oxen encircled it, ten per cubit all the way around the Sea, cast in two rows as a part of the Sea.
4 [IT WAS] STANDING ON TWO [PLUS] TEN CATTLE THREE [WERE] TURNING NORTH -WARD AND THREE [WERE] TURNING WEST -WARD AND THREE [WERE] TURNING SOUTH -WARD AND THREE [WERE] TURNING EAST -WARD AND THE SEA [WAS] ON THEM FROM TO ABOVE <TOWARDS> AND ALL HINDQUARTERS THEIR [WERE] INSIDE TOWARDS
4 The Sea stood on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east. The Sea rested on them, with all their hindquarters toward the center.
5 AND THICKNESS ITS [WAS] A HAND BREADTH AND LIP ITS [WAS] LIKE [THE] WORK OF [THE] LIP OF A CUP [THE] BLOSSOM OF A LILY HOLDING BATHS THREE THOUSAND<S> IT CONTAINED
5 It was a handbreadth thick, and its rim was fashioned like the brim of a cup, like a lily blossom. It could hold three thousand baths.
6 AND HE MADE LAVERS TEN AND HE PUT FIVE FROM [THE] SOUTH AND FIVE FROM [THE] LEFT TO WASH IN THEM <OBJ.> [THE] WORK OF THE BURNT OFFERING PEOPLE RINSED IN THEM AND THE SEA TO WASH [WAS] FOR THE PRIESTS IN IT
The Ten Basins, Lampstands, and Tables
(1 Kings 7:38–39 )
6 He also made ten basins for washing and placed five on the south side and five on the north. The parts of the burnt offering were rinsed in them, but the priests used the Sea for washing.
7 AND HE MADE <OBJ.> [THE] LAMPSTANDS OF <THE> GOLD TEN ACCORDING TO ORDINANCE THEIR AND HE PUT [THEM] IN THE TEMPLE FIVE FROM [THE] SOUTH AND FIVE FROM [THE] NORTH
7 He made ten gold lampstands according to their specifications and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north.
8 AND HE MADE TABLES TEN AND HE PLACED [THEM] IN THE TEMPLE FIVE FROM [THE] SOUTH AND FIVE FROM [THE] NORTH AND HE MADE BOWLS OF GOLD ONE HUNDRED
8 Additionally, he made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the south side and five on the north. He also made a hundred gold bowls.
9 AND HE MADE [THE] COURT OF THE PRIESTS AND THE PRECINCT <THE> GREAT AND DOORS FOR THE PRECINCT AND DOORS THEIR HE OVERLAID BRONZE
The Courts
9 He made the courtyard of the priests and the large court with its doors, and he overlaid the doors with bronze.
10 AND <OBJ.> THE SEA HE PUT FROM [THE] SIDE OF <THE> SOUTH EAST -WARD FROM IN FRONT OF [THE] SOUTH <TOWARDS>
10 He put the Sea on the south side, at the southeast corner.
11 AND HE MADE HURAM <OBJ.> THE POTS AND <OBJ.> THE SHOVELS AND <OBJ.> THE BOWLS AND HE FINISHED HURAM TO DO <OBJ.> THE WORK WHICH HE DID FOR THE KING SOLOMON ON [THE] HOUSE OF <THE> GOD
Completion of the Bronze Works
(1 Kings 7:40–47 )
11 Additionally, Huram made the pots, shovels, and sprinkling bowls.
So Huram finished the work that he had undertaken for King Solomon in the house of God:

12 the two pillars;
the two bowl-shaped capitals atop the pillars;
the two sets of network covering both bowls of the capitals atop the pillars;
13 AND <OBJ.> THE POMEGRANATES FOUR HUNDRED<S> FOR [THE] TWO THE NETWORKS TWO ROWS POMEGRANATES FOR THE NETWORK <THE> ONE TO COVER <OBJ.> [THE] TWO [THE] BOWLS OF THE CAPITALS WHICH [WERE] ON [THE] FACE OF THE PILLARS
13 the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of network (two rows of pomegranates for each network covering both the bowl-shaped capitals atop the pillars);
14 AND <OBJ.> THE STANDS HE MADE AND <OBJ.> THE LAVERS HE MADE ON THE STANDS
14 the stands;
the basins on the stands;
15 <OBJ.> THE SEA ONE AND <OBJ.> THE CATTLE TWO [PLUS] TEN UNDER IT
15 the Sea;
the twelve oxen underneath the Sea;
16 AND <OBJ.> THE POTS AND <OBJ.> THE SHOVELS AND <OBJ.> THE FORKS AND <OBJ.> ALL ARTICLES THEIR HE MADE HURAM ABI FOR THE KING SOLOMON FOR [THE] HOUSE OF YAHWEH BRONZE POLISHED
16 and the pots, shovels, meat forks, and all the other articles.
All these objects that Huram-abi made for King Solomon for the house of the LORD were of polished bronze.
17 IN [THE] VALLEY OF THE JORDAN HE CAST THEM THE KING IN [THE] THICKNESS OF THE GROUND BETWEEN SUCCOTH AND BETWEEN ZEREDAH
17 The king had them cast in clay molds in the plain of the Jordan between Succoth and Zeredah.
18 AND HE MADE SOLOMON ALL THE ARTICLES <THE> THESE TO ABUNDANCE EXCEEDINGLY THAT NOT IT WAS ASCERTAINED [THE] WEIGHT OF THE BRONZE
18 Solomon made all these articles in such great abundance that the weight of the bronze could not be determined.
19 AND HE MADE SOLOMON <OBJ.> ALL THE ARTICLES WHICH [WERE] [THE] HOUSE OF <THE> GOD AND <OBJ.> [THE] ALTAR OF <THE> GOLD AND <OBJ.> THE TABLES AND ON THEM [THE] BREAD OF THE PRESENCE
Completion of the Gold Furnishings
(1 Kings 7:48–51 )
19 Solomon also made all the furnishings for the house of God:
the golden altar;
the tables on which was placed the Bread of the Presence;
20 AND <OBJ.> THE LAMPSTANDS AND LAMPS THEIR TO BURN THEY ACCORDING TO THE ORDINANCE <TO> BEFORE THE INNERMOST ROOM GOLD PURE GOLD
20 the lampstands of pure gold and their lamps, to burn in front of the inner sanctuary as prescribed;
21 AND THE BLOSSOM AND THE LAMPS AND THE TONGS GOLD IT [WAS] PERFECTION<S> OF GOLD
21 the flowers, lamps, and tongs of gold— of purest gold;
22 AND THE SNUFFERS AND THE BOWLS AND THE PANS AND THE FIRE-PANS GOLD PURE GOLD AND [THE] ENTRANCE OF THE HOUSE DOORS ITS <THE> INNER TO [THE] HOLY PLACE OF THE HOLY PLACES AND [THE] DOORS OF THE HOUSE OF THE TEMPLE GOLD
22 the wick trimmers, sprinkling bowls, ladles, and censers of pure gold;
and the gold doors of the temple: the inner doors to the Most Holy Place as well as the doors of the main hall.
