4 AND HE WILL DO YAHWEH TO <THE> THEM JUST AS HE DID TO SIHON AND TO OG [THE] KINGS OF THE AMORITE[S] AND TO LAND THEIR WHOM HE DESTROYED <OBJ.> THEM
4 And the LORD will do to them as He did to Sihon and Og, the kings of the Amorites, when He destroyed them along with their land.
5 AND HE WILL DELIVER UP THEM YAHWEH <TO> BEFORE YOU AND YOU WILL DO TO <THE> THEM ACCORDING TO ALL THE COMMANDMENT WHICH I HAVE COMMANDED <OBJ.> YOU

7 AND HE SUMMONED MOSES <TO> JOSHUA AND HE SAID TO HIM TO [THE] EYES OF ALL ISRAEL BE STRONG AND BE BOLD FOR YOU YOU WILL GO WITH THE PEOPLE <THE> THIS INTO THE LAND WHICH HE SWORE YAHWEH TO ANCESTORS THEIR TO GIVE TO <THE> THEM AND YOU YOU WILL GIVE AS AN INHERITANCE IT <OBJ.> THEM
7 Then Moses called for Joshua and said to him in the presence of all Israel, “Be strong and courageous, for you will go with this people into the land that the LORD swore to their fathers to give them, and you shall give it to them as an inheritance.
8 AND YAHWEH HE [IS] THE [ONE WHO] GOES <TO> BEFORE YOU HE HE WILL BE WITH YOU NOT HE WILL ABANDON YOU AND NOT HE WILL FORSAKE YOU NOT YOU MUST BE AFRAID AND NOT YOU MUST BE DISMAYED
8 The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.”
9 AND HE WROTE DOWN MOSES <OBJ.> THE LAW <THE> THIS AND HE GAVE IT TO THE PRIESTS [THE] SONS OF LEVI WHO CARRY <OBJ.> [THE] ARK OF [THE] COVENANT OF YAHWEH AND TO ALL [THE] ELDERS OF ISRAEL
The Reading of the Law
(Nehemiah 8:1–8 )
9 So Moses wrote down this law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and to all the elders of Israel.
10 AND HE COMMANDED MOSES <OBJ.> THEM <TO> SAYING FROM [THE] END OF SEVEN YEARS AT [THE] APPOINTED TIME OF [THE] YEAR OF THE REMISSION AT [THE] FESTIVAL OF THE BOOTHS

12 Assemble the people— men, women, children, and the foreigners within your gates— so that they may listen and learn to fear the LORD your God and to follow carefully all the words of this law.
13 AND CHILDREN THEIR WHO NOT THEY HAVE KNOWN THEY WILL HEAR AND THEY WILL LEARN TO FEAR <OBJ.> YAHWEH GOD YOUR ALL THE DAYS WHICH YOU [WILL BE] ALIVE ON THE LAND WHERE YOU [ARE] ABOUT TO PASS OVER <OBJ.> THE JORDAN THERE TOWARDS TO TAKE POSSESSION OF IT
13 Then their children who do not know the law will listen and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as you live in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”
14 AND HE SAID YAHWEH TO MOSES HERE! THEY HAVE DRAWN NEAR DAYS YOUR TO DIE SUMMON <OBJ.> JOSHUA AND PRESENT YOURSELVES AT [THE] TENT OF MEETING SO I MAY COMMISSION HIM AND HE WENT MOSES AND JOSHUA AND THEY PRESENTED THEMSELVES AT [THE] TENT OF MEETING
God Commissions Joshua
14 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Behold, the time of your death is near. Call Joshua and present yourselves at the Tent of Meeting, so that I may commission him.”
So Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves at the Tent of Meeting.
15 AND HE APPEARED YAHWEH AT THE TENT IN A PILLAR OF CLOUD AND IT STOOD [THE] PILLAR OF <THE> CLOUD OVER [THE] ENTRANCE OF THE TENT
15 Then the LORD appeared at the tent in a pillar of cloud, and the cloud stood over the entrance to the tent.
16 AND HE SAID YAHWEH TO MOSES HERE YOU [ARE] ABOUT TO LIE DOWN WITH ANCESTORS YOUR AND IT WILL ARISE THE PEOPLE <THE> THIS AND IT WILL ACT AS A PROSTITUTE AFTER [THE] GODS OF <THE> FOREIGNNESS OF THE LAND WHERE IT [IS] ABOUT TO GO THERE TOWARDS IN MIDST ITS AND IT WILL FORSAKE ME AND IT WILL BREAK <OBJ.> COVENANT MY WHICH I MADE WITH IT
16 And the LORD said to Moses, “You will soon rest with your fathers, and these people will rise up and prostitute themselves with the foreign gods of the land they are entering. They will forsake Me and break the covenant I have made with them.
17 AND IT WILL BURN ANGER MY ON <THE> IT ON THE DAY <THE> THAT AND I WILL FORSAKE THEM AND I WILL HIDE FACE MY FROM <THE> THEM AND IT WILL BE FOR DEVOURING AND THEY WILL COME UPON IT CALAMITIES MANY AND TROUBLES AND IT WILL SAY ON THE DAY <THE> THAT ¿ NOT ON FOR NOT GOD MY [IS] IN MIDST MY HAVE THEY COME UPON ME THE CALAMITIES <THE> THESE
17 On that day My anger will burn against them, and I will abandon them and hide My face from them, so that they will be consumed, and many troubles and afflictions will befall them.
On that day they will say, ‘Have not these disasters come upon us because our God is no longer with us?’
18 AND I CERTAINLY <TO HIDE> I WILL HIDE FACE MY ON THE DAY <THE> THAT ON ALL THE EVIL WHICH IT HAS DONE FOR IT HAS TURNED TO GODS OTHER
18 And on that day I will surely hide My face because of all the evil they have done by turning to other gods.
19 AND THEREFORE WRITE DOWN FOR <THE> YOURSELVES <OBJ.> THE SONG <THE> THIS AND TEACH IT <OBJ.> [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL PUT IT IN MOUTH THEIR SO THAT IT MAY BECOME FOR <THE> ME THE SONG <THE> THIS <INTO> A WITNESS ON [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL
19 Now therefore, write down for yourselves this song and teach it to the Israelites; have them recite it, so that it may be a witness for Me against them.
20 IF I WILL BRING IT INTO THE LAND WHICH I SWORE TO ANCESTORS ITS FLOWING OF MILK AND HONEY AND IT WILL EAT AND IT WILL BE SATISFIED AND IT WILL GROW FAT AND IT WILL TURN TO GODS OTHER AND THEY WILL SERVE THEM AND THEY WILL SPURN ME AND IT WILL BREAK <OBJ.> COVENANT MY
20 When I have brought them into the land that I swore to give their fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey, they will eat their fill and prosper. Then they will turn to other gods and worship them, and they will reject Me and break My covenant.
21 AND IT WILL BE THAT THEY WILL COME UPON <OBJ.> IT CALAMITIES MANY AND TROUBLES AND IT WILL TESTIFY THE SONG <THE> THIS <TO> BEFORE IT TO A WITNESS FOR NOT IT WILL BE FORGOTTEN FROM [THE] MOUTH OF OFFSPRING ITS FOR I KNOW <OBJ.> INTENTION ITS WHICH IT [IS] MAKING THIS DAY <IN> BEFORE I WILL BRING IT INTO THE LAND WHICH I SWORE
21 And when many troubles and afflictions have come upon them this song will testify against them, because it will not be forgotten from the lips of their descendants. For I know their inclination. even before I bring them into the land that I swore to give them.”
22 AND HE WROTE DOWN MOSES <OBJ.> THE SONG <THE> THIS ON THE DAY <THE> THAT AND HE TAUGHT IT <OBJ.> [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL
22 So that very day Moses wrote down this song and taught it to the Israelites.
23 AND HE COMMISSIONED <OBJ.> JOSHUA [THE] SON OF NUN AND HE SAID BE STRONG AND BE BOLD FOR YOU YOU WILL BRING <OBJ.> [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL INTO THE LAND WHICH I SWORE TO <THE> THEM AND I I WILL BE WITH YOU
23 Then the LORD commissioned Joshua son of Nun and said, “Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land that I swore to give them, and I will be with you.”

25 he gave this command to the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD:
26 TAKE <OBJ.> [THE] BOOK OF THE LAW <THE> THIS AND YOU WILL PUT <OBJ.> IT FROM [THE] SIDE OF [THE] ARK OF [THE] COVENANT OF YAHWEH GOD YOUR AND IT WILL BECOME THERE ON <THE> YOU <INTO> A WITNESS
26 “Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, so that it may remain there as a witness against you.
27 FOR I I KNOW <OBJ.> REBELLION YOUR AND <OBJ.> NECK YOUR <THE> STIFF HERE! WHEN STILL I [AM] ALIVE WITH YOU THIS DAY REBELLIOUS YOU HAVE BEEN WITH YAHWEH AND INDEED? FOR AFTER DEATH MY
27 For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are If you are already rebelling against the LORD while I am still alive, how much more will you rebel after my death!
28 ASSEMBLE TO ME <OBJ.> ALL [THE] ELDERS OF TRIBES YOUR AND OFFICIALS YOUR AND LET ME SPEAK IN EARS THEIR <OBJ.> THE WORDS <THE> THESE SO I MAY CALL AS WITNESSES AGAINST <THE> THEM <OBJ.> THE HEAVENS AND <OBJ.> THE EARTH
28 Assemble before me all the elders of your tribes and all your officers so that I may speak these words in their hearing and call heaven and earth to witness against them.
29 FOR I KNOW AFTER DEATH MY THAT CERTAINLY <TO ACT CORRUPTLY> YOU WILL ACT CORRUPTLY ! AND YOU WILL TURN ASIDE FROM THE WAY WHICH I HAVE COMMANDED <OBJ.> YOU AND IT WILL HAPPEN TO <OBJ.> YOU <THE> EVIL AT [THE] END OF THE DAYS FOR YOU WILL DO <OBJ.> THE EVIL IN [THE] EYES OF YAHWEH TO PROVOKE TO ANGER HIM BY [THE] WORK OF HANDS YOUR
29 For I know that after my death you will become utterly corrupt and turn from the path I have commanded you. And in the days to come, disaster will befall you because you will do evil in the sight of the LORD to provoke Him to anger by the work of your hands.”
30 AND HE SPOKE MOSES IN [THE] EARS OF ALL [THE] ASSEMBLY OF ISRAEL <OBJ.> [THE] WORDS OF THE SONG <THE> THIS UNTIL WERE COMPLETE THEY
