1AND HE SPOKE YAHWEH TO MOSES <TO> SAYING Bezalel and Oholiab (Exodus 35:30–35) 1Then the LORD said to Moses,
2SEE I HAVE CALLED BY NAME BEZALEL [THE] SON OF URI [THE] SON OF HUR OF [THE] TRIBE OF JUDAH 2“See, I have called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
3AND I HAVE FILLED <OBJ.> HIM [THE] SPIRIT OF GOD WITH SKILL AND WITH UNDERSTANDING AND WITH KNOWLEDGE AND WITH ALL WORKMANSHIP 3And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with skill, ability, and knowledge in all kinds of craftsmanship,
4TO DESIGN DESIGNS TO WORK IN <THE> GOLD AND IN <THE> SILVER AND IN <THE> BRONZE 4to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze,
5AND IN CARVING OF STONE TO FILL AND IN CARVING OF WOOD TO WORK IN ALL WORKMANSHIP 5to cut gemstones for settings, and to carve wood, so that he may be a master of every craft.
6AND I HERE! I HAVE APPOINTED WITH HIM <OBJ.> OHOLIAB [THE] SON OF AHISAMACH OF [THE] TRIBE OF DAN AND IN [THE] HEART OF EVERY [PERSON] SKILLFUL OF HEART I HAVE PUT SKILL AND THEY WILL MAKE <OBJ.> ALL THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU 6Moreover, I have selected Oholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, as his assistant. I have also given skill to all the craftsmen, that they may fashion all that I have commanded you:

9AND <OBJ.> [THE] ALTAR OF THE BURNT OFFERING AND <OBJ.> ALL ARTICLES ITS AND <OBJ.> THE LAVER AND <OBJ.> BASE ITS 9the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the basin with its stand—
10AND <OBJ.> [THE] GARMENTS OF THE WOVEN MATERIAL AND <OBJ.> [THE] GARMENTS OF THE HOLINESS FOR AARON THE PRIEST AND <OBJ.> [THE] GARMENTS OF SONS HIS TO SERVE AS PRIESTS 10as well as the woven garments, both the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments for his sons to serve as priests,
11AND <OBJ.> [THE] OIL OF <THE> ANOINTING AND <OBJ.> [THE] INCENSE OF THE PERFUME<S> FOR THE HOLY PLACE ACCORDING TO ALL THAT I HAVE COMMANDED YOU THEY WILL DO 11in addition to the anointing oil and fragrant incense for the Holy Place. They are to make them according to all that I have commanded you.”
12AND HE SAID YAHWEH TO MOSES <TO> SAYING The Sign of the Sabbath (Numbers 15:32–36) 12And the LORD said to Moses,
13AND YOU SPEAK TO [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL <TO> SAYING SURELY <OBJ.> SABBATHS MY YOU WILL OBSERVE FOR [IS] A SIGN IT BETWEEN ME AND BETWEEN YOU TO GENERATIONS YOUR TO KNOW THAT I [AM] YAHWEH [WHO] SETS APART YOU 13“Tell the Israelites ‘Surely you must keep My Sabbaths, for this will be a sign between Me and you for the generations to come, so that you may know that I am the LORD who sanctifies you.
14AND YOU WILL OBSERVE <OBJ.> THE SABBATH FOR [IS] A HOLY THING IT TO YOU [THOSE WHO] PROFANE IT CERTAINLY <TO DIE> HE WILL BE PUT TO DEATH FOR EVERY <THE> [ONE WHO] DOES ON IT WORK AND IT WILL BE CUT OFF THE PERSON <THE> THAT FROM [THE] MIDST OF KINSPEOPLE<S> ITS 14Keep the Sabbath, for it is holy to you. Anyone who profanes it must surely be put to death Whoever does any work on that day must be cut off from among his people.
15SIX DAYS IT WILL BE DONE WORK AND [WILL BE] ON THE DAY <THE> SEVENTH A SABBATH OF SABBATH OBSERVANCE A HOLY THING TO YAHWEH EVERY <THE> [ONE WHO] DOES WORK ON [THE] DAY OF THE SABBATH CERTAINLY <TO DIE> HE WILL BE PUT TO DEATH 15For six days work may be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must surely be put to death.
16AND THEY WILL OBSERVE [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL <OBJ.> THE SABBATH BY CELEBRATING <OBJ.> THE SABBATH TO GENERATIONS THEIR A COVENANT OF PERPETUITY 16The Israelites must keep the Sabbath, celebrating it as a permanent covenant for the generations to come.
17BETWEEN ME AND BETWEEN [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL [IS] A SIGN IT FOR EVER FOR SIX DAYS HE MADE YAHWEH <OBJ.> THE HEAVENS AND <OBJ.> THE EARTH AND ON THE DAY <THE> SEVENTH HE RESTED AND HE REFRESHED HIMSELF 17It is a sign between Me and the Israelites forever; for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, but on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”
18AND HE GAVE TO MOSES WHEN FINISHED HE TO SPEAK WITH HIM ON [THE] MOUNTAIN OF SINAI [THE] TWO [THE] TABLETS OF THE TESTIMONY TABLETS OF STONE WRITTEN BY [THE] FINGER OF GOD Moses Receives the Tablets 18When the LORD had finished speaking with Moses on Mount Sinai, He gave him the two tablets of the Testimony, tablets of stone inscribed by the finger of God.
