9AND I WASHED YOU WITH <THE> WATER AND I WASHED OFF BLOOD<S> YOUR FROM ON <THE> YOU AND I ANOINTED YOU WITH <THE> OIL 9Then I bathed you with water, rinsed off your blood, and anointed you with oil.
10AND I CLOTHED YOU MULTICOLORED CLOTH AND I SHOD YOU LEATHER AND I WRAPPED HEAD YOUR WITH <THE> FINE LINEN AND I COVERED YOU SILK 10I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of fine leather. I wrapped you in fine linen and covered you with silk.
11AND I ORNAMENTED YOU ORNAMENT[S] AND I PUT! BRACELETS ON HANDS YOUR AND A CHAIN ON NECK YOUR 11I adorned you with jewelry, and I put bracelets on your wrists and a chain around your neck.
12AND I PUT A RING ON NOSE YOUR AND EARRINGS ON EARS YOUR AND A CROWN OF BEAUTY ON HEAD YOUR 12I put a ring in your nose, earrings on your ears, and a beautiful crown upon your head.
13AND YOU ORNAMENTED YOURSELF GOLD AND SILVER AND CLOTHING YOUR [WAS] FINE LINEN AND SILK AND MULTICOLORED CLOTH FINE FLOUR AND HONEY AND OIL YOU ATE AND YOU WERE BEAUTIFUL WITH MUCHNESS MUCHNESS AND YOU PROSPERED INTO KINGSHIP 13So you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was made of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate fine flour, honey, and oil. You became very beautiful and rose to be queen.
14AND IT WENT OUT OF YOU NAME AMONG THE NATIONS ON BEAUTY YOUR FOR [WAS] PERFECT IT ON SPLENDOR MY WHICH I HAD PUT ON YOU [THE] UTTERANCE OF [THE] LORD YAHWEH 14Your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, for it was perfect in the splendor I bestowed on you, declares the Lord GOD.
15AND YOU TRUSTED IN BEAUTY YOUR AND YOU ACTED AS A PROSTITUTE ON NAME YOUR AND YOU POURED OUT <OBJ.> PROSTITUTION<S> YOUR ON EVERY [ONE WHO] PASSED BY TO HIM LET IT BELONG 15But because of your fame, you trusted in your beauty and played the harlot. You lavished your favors on everyone who passed by and your beauty was theirs for the asking.
16AND YOU TOOK SOME OF CLOTHES YOUR AND YOU MADE FOR YOURSELF HIGH PLACES MULTICOLORED AND YOU ACTED AS A PROSTITUTE ON THEM NOT COMING AND NOT IT WILL BE 16You took some of your garments and made colorful high places for yourself, and on them you prostituted yourself. Such things should not have happened; never should they have occurred!
17AND YOU TOOK [THE] ARTICLES OF BEAUTY YOUR SOME OF GOLD MY AND SOME OF SILVER MY WHICH I HAD GIVEN TO YOU AND YOU MADE FOR YOURSELF IMAGES OF A MALE AND YOU ACTED AS A PROSTITUTE WITH THEM 17You also took the fine jewelry of gold and silver I had given you, and you made male idols with which to prostitute yourself.
18AND YOU TOOK <OBJ.> [THE] CLOTHES OF MULTICOLORED CLOTH YOUR AND YOU COVERED THEM AND OIL MY AND INCENSE MY YOU PUT <TO> BEFORE THEM 18You took your embroidered garments to cover them, and you set My oil and incense before them.
19AND FOOD MY WHICH I HAD GIVEN TO YOU FINE FLOUR AND OIL AND HONEY [WHICH] I HAD GIVEN TO EAT YOU AND YOU PUT IT <TO> BEFORE THEM TO AN ODOR OF SOOTHING AND IT WAS [THE] UTTERANCE OF [THE] LORD YAHWEH 19And you set before them as a pleasing aroma the food I had given you— the fine flour, oil, and honey that I had fed you. That is what happened, declares the Lord GOD.
20AND YOU TOOK <OBJ.> SONS YOUR AND <OBJ.> DAUGHTERS YOUR WHOM YOU HAD BORNE TO ME AND YOU SACRIFICED THEM TO THEM TO DEVOUR ¿ LITTLE FROM PROSTITUTION<S> YOUR 20You even took the sons and daughters you bore to Me and sacrificed them as food to idols. Was your prostitution not enough?

24AND YOU BUILT FOR YOURSELF A MOUND AND YOU MADE FOR YOURSELF A HIGH PLACE IN EVERY OPEN PLACE 24you built yourself a mound and made yourself a lofty shrine in every public square.
25TO EVERY HEAD OF A ROAD YOU BUILT HIGH PLACE YOUR AND YOU MADE ABOMINABLE <OBJ.> BEAUTY YOUR AND YOU OPENED WIDE <OBJ.> FEET YOUR FOR EVERY [ONE WHO] PASSED BY AND YOU INCREASED <OBJ.> PROSTITUTION<S> YOUR 25At the head of every street you built your lofty shrines and degraded your beauty. I gave you over to the desire of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your lewd conduct.

32O WIFE <THE> ADULTEROUS [WHO] IN PLACE OF HUSBAND HER SHE TAKES <OBJ.> STRANGERS 32You adulterous wife! You receive strangers instead of your own husband!
33TO ALL PROSTITUTES MEN GIVE A GIFT AND YOU YOU HAVE GIVEN <OBJ.> GIFT YOUR TO ALL LOVERS YOUR AND YOU HAVE BRIBED <OBJ.> THEM TO COME TO YOU FROM ROUND ABOUT BY PROSTITUTION<S> YOUR 33Men give gifts to all their prostitutes, but you gave gifts to all your lovers. 36THUS HE SAYS [THE] LORD YAHWEH BECAUSE WAS POURED OUT LUST YOUR AND IT WAS UNCOVERED NAKEDNESS YOUR IN PROSTITUTION<S> YOUR WITH LOVERS YOUR AND ON ALL [THE] IDOLS OF ABOMINATIONS YOUR AND ACCORDING TO [THE] BLOOD<S> OF CHILDREN YOUR WHICH YOU GAVE TO THEM 36This is what the Lord GOD says: Because you poured out your wealth and exposed your nakedness in your promiscuity with your lovers and with all your detestable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them,

I will put an end to your prostitution, and you will never again pay your lovers.
42AND I WILL GIVE REST TO RAGE MY ON YOU AND IT WILL TURN ASIDE JEALOUSY MY FROM YOU AND I WILL BE AT PEACE AND NOT I WILL BE ANGRY AGAIN 42So I will lay to rest My wrath against you, and My jealousy will turn away from you. Then I will be calm and no longer angry.

For they appear more righteous than you, because your sins were more vile than theirs. So you too must bear your shame and disgrace, since you have made your sisters appear righteous.
