2SING TO HIM SING PRAISES TO HIM TELL IN ALL WONDERS HIS 2Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; tell of all His wonders.
3BOAST IN [THE] NAME OF HOLINESS HIS LET IT REJOICE [THE] HEART OF [THOSE WHO] SEEK <OF> YAHWEH 3Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the LORD rejoice.
4SEEK YAHWEH AND STRENGTH HIS SEEK FACE HIS CONTINUALLY 4Seek out the LORD and His strength; seek His face always.
5REMEMBER WONDERS HIS WHICH HE DID SIGNS HIS AND [THE] JUDGMENTS OF MOUTH HIS 5Remember the wonders He has done, His marvels, and the judgments He has pronounced,
6O OFFSPRING OF ABRAHAM SERVANT HIS O CHILDREN OF JACOB CHOSEN ONES HIS 6O offspring of His servant Abraham, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
7HE [IS] YAHWEH GOD OUR [ARE] IN ALL THE EARTH JUDGMENTS HIS 7He is the LORD our God; His judgments carry throughout the earth.
8HE REMEMBERS FOR EVER COVENANT HIS [THE] WORD [WHICH] HE COMMANDED FOR A THOUSAND GENERATION[S] 8He remembers His covenant forever, the word He ordained for a thousand generations—
9WHICH HE MADE WITH ABRAHAM AND OATH HIS TO ISAAC 9the covenant He made with Abraham, and the oath He swore to Isaac.
10AND HE CONFIRMED IT TO JACOB TO A DECREE TO ISRAEL A COVENANT OF PERPETUITY 10He confirmed it to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11<TO> SAYING TO YOU I WILL GIVE <OBJ.> [THE] LAND OF CANAAN [THE] PORTION OF INHERITANCE YOUR 11I will give you the land of Canaan as the portion of your inheritance.”
12WHEN WERE THEY MEN OF NUMBER LIKE A LITTLE AND SOJOURNERS IN IT 12When they were few in number, few indeed, and strangers in the land,
13AND THEY WENT ABOUT FROM NATION TO NATION FROM A KINGDOM TO A PEOPLE ANOTHER 13they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another.
14NOT HE PERMITTED ANYONE TO OPPRESS THEM AND HE REBUKED ON THEM KINGS 14He let no man oppress them; He rebuked kings on their behalf:
15MAY NOT YOU TOUCH <IN> ANOINTED [ONES] MY AND TO PROPHETS MY MAY NOT YOU DO HARM 15“Do not touch My anointed ones! Do no harm to My prophets!”
16AND HE CALLED A FAMINE ON THE LAND EVERY STAFF OF BREAD HE BROKE 16He called down famine on the land and cut off all their supplies*NoteCloseHebrew staff of food.
17HE SENT <TO> BEFORE THEM A MAN TO A SLAVE HE WAS SOLD JOSEPH 17He sent a man before them— Joseph, sold as a slave.
18PEOPLE AFFLICTED WITH <THE> SHACKLE[S] FOOT HIS IRON IT CAME NECK HIS 18They bruised his feet with shackles and placed his neck in irons,
19UNTIL [THE] TIME CAME WORD HIS [THE] WORD OF YAHWEH IT TESTED HIM 19until his prediction came true and the word of the LORD proved him right.
20HE SENT A KING AND HE SET FREE HIM A RULER OF PEOPLES AND HE SET FREE HIM 20The king sent and released him; the ruler of peoples set him free.
21HE APPOINTED HIM MASTER OF HOUSEHOLD HIS AND RULER OVER EVERY POSSESSION HIS 21He made him master of his household, ruler over all his substance,
22TO BIND OFFICIALS HIS IN WILL HIS AND ELDERS HIS HE TAUGHT WISDOM 22to instruct*NoteCloseLXX and Syriac; MT to bind his princes as he pleased and teach his elders wisdom.
23AND HE CAME ISRAEL EGYPT AND JACOB HE SOJOURNED IN [THE] LAND OF HAM 23Then Israel entered Egypt; Jacob dwelt in the land of Ham.
24AND HE MADE FRUITFUL <OBJ.> PEOPLE HIS EXCEEDINGLY AND HE MADE STRONG IT MORE THAN FOES ITS 24And the LORD made His people very fruitful, more numerous than their foes,
25HE TURNED HEART THEIR TO HATE PEOPLE HIS TO DEAL DECEPTIVELY WITH SERVANTS HIS 25whose hearts He turned to hate His people, to conspire against His servants.
26HE SENT MOSES SERVANT HIS AARON WHOM HE HAD CHOSEN <IN> HIM 26He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen
27THEY PERFORMED AMONG THEM [THE] WORDS OF SIGNS HIS AND WONDERS IN [THE] LAND OF HAM 27They performed His miraculous signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28HE SENT DARKNESS AND HE MADE DARK AND NOT THEY REBELLED AGAINST <OBJ.> WORD HIS 28He sent darkness, and it became dark— yet they defied His words.*NoteCloseLXX and Syriac; Hebrew for had they not defied His words?
29HE TURNED <OBJ.> WATER THEIR INTO BLOOD AND HE CAUSED TO DIE <OBJ.> FISH THEIR 29He turned their waters to blood and caused their fish to die.
30IT SWARMED LAND THEIR FROGS IN [THE] ROOMS OF KINGS THEIR 30Their land teemed with frogs, even in their royal chambers.
31HE SPOKE AND IT CAME A SWARM OF FLIES GNATS IN ALL TERRITORY THEIR 31He spoke, and insects swarmed— gnats throughout their country.
32HE MADE RAINS THEIR HAIL A FIRE OF FLAMES [WAS] IN LAND THEIR 32He gave them hail for rain, with lightning throughout their land.
33AND HE STRUCK DOWN VINE[S] THEIR AND FIG TREE[S] THEIR AND HE BROKE DOWN [THE] TREE[S] OF TERRITORY THEIR 33He struck their vines and fig trees and shattered the trees of their country.
34HE SPOKE AND IT CAME LOCUST[S] AND LOCUST[S] AND THERE NOT [WAS] A NUMBER 34He spoke, and the locusts came— young locusts without number.
35AND IT ATE ALL [THE] VEGETATION IN LAND THEIR AND IT ATE [THE] FRUIT OF GROUND THEIR 35They devoured every plant in their land and consumed the produce of their soil.
36AND HE STRUCK DOWN EVERY FIRSTBORN IN LAND THEIR [THE] BEGINNING OF ALL MANLY VIGOR THEIR 36Then He struck all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigor.
37AND HE BROUGHT OUT THEM WITH SILVER AND GOLD AND THERE NOT AMONG TRIBES HIS [WAS ONE WHO] STUMBLED 37He brought Israel out with silver and gold, and none among His tribes stumbled.
38IT WAS GLAD EGYPT WHEN WENT OUT THEY FOR IT HAD FALLEN DREAD OF THEM ON THEM 38Egypt was glad when they departed, for the dread of Israel had fallen on them.
39HE SPREAD OUT A CLOUD TO A COVERING AND FIRE TO GIVE LIGHT NIGHT 39He spread a cloud as a covering and a fire to light up the night.
40HE ASKED AND HE BROUGHT QUAIL AND BREAD OF HEAVENS HE SATISFIED THEM 40They asked, and He brought quail and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41HE OPENED A ROCK AND THEY FLOWED OUT WATERS THEY WENT IN THE DRY REGIONS A RIVER 41He opened a rock, and water gushed out; it flowed like a river in the desert.
42FOR HE REMEMBERED <OBJ.> [THE] WORD OF HOLINESS HIS <OBJ.> ABRAHAM SERVANT HIS 42For He remembered His holy promise to Abraham His servant.
43AND HE BROUGHT OUT PEOPLE HIS WITH JOY WITH A SHOUT OF JOY <OBJ.> CHOSEN ONES HIS 43He brought forth His people with rejoicing, His chosen with shouts of joy.
44AND HE GAVE TO THEM LANDS OF NATIONS AND [THE] LABOR OF PEOPLES THEY TOOK POSSESSION OF 44He gave them the lands of the nations, that they might inherit the fruit of others’ labor,
