2ALSO IN [THE] HEART INJUSTICE<S> YOU DO! IN THE LAND [THE] VIOLENCE OF HANDS YOUR YOU WEIGH OUT! 2No, in your hearts you devise injustice; with your hands you mete out violence on the earth.
3THEY TURN ASIDE WICKED [PEOPLE] FROM [THE] WOMB THEY GO ASTRAY FROM [THE] BELLY [THOSE WHO] SPEAK <OF> FALSEHOOD 3The wicked are estranged from the womb; the liars go astray from birth.
4VENOM OF THEM [IS] LIKE [THE] LIKENESS OF [THE] VENOM OF A SNAKE LIKE A COBRA DEAF [WHICH] IT SHUTS EAR ITS 4Their venom is like the venom of a snake, like a cobra that shuts its ears,
5WHICH NOT IT LISTENS TO [THE] SOUND OF CHARMERS [ONE WHO] CASTS SPELLS SKILLFUL 5refusing to hear the tune of the charmer who skillfully weaves his spell.
6O GOD BREAK AWAY TEETH THEIR IN MOUTH THEIR [THE] TEETH OF YOUNG LIONS BREAK OFF O YAHWEH 6O God, shatter their teeth in their mouths; O LORD, tear out the fangs of the lions.
7MAY THEY FLOW LIKE WATERS [WHICH] THEY GO ABOUT <FOR> THEMSELVES MAY HE BEND ARROWS HIS LIKE LET THEM BE CUT OFF 7May they vanish like water that runs off when they draw the bow, may their arrows be blunted.*NoteCloseOr when they are trodden down, may they wither like grass

11SO HE MAY SAY ANYONE SURELY FRUIT [BELONGS] TO THE RIGHTEOUS SURELY THERE [IS] A GOD [WHO] JUDGES ON THE EARTH 11Then men will say, “There is surely a reward for the righteous! There is surely a God who judges the earth!”
