2DELIVER ME FROM [THOSE WHO] DO <OF> WICKEDNESS AND FROM MEN OF BLOOD<S> SAVE ME 2Deliver me from workers of iniquity, and save me from men of bloodshed.

6THEY RETURN TO <THE> EVENING THEY GROWL LIKE <THE> DOG SO THEY MAY GO AROUND [THE] CITY 6They return in the evening, snarling like dogs and prowling around the city.
7HERE! THEY POUR FORTH! WITH MOUTH THEIR SWORDS [ARE] ON LIPS THEIR FOR WHO? [IS] HEARING 7See what they spew from their mouths— sharp words from their lips: “For who can hear us?”
8AND YOU O YAHWEH YOU LAUGH TO THEM YOU MOCK <TO> ALL [THE] NATIONS 8But You, O LORD, laugh at them; You scoff at all the nations.
9STRENGTH HIS TO YOU I WILL WATCH FOR GOD [IS] REFUGE MY 9I will keep watch for You, O my strength, because You, O God, are my fortress.
10[THE] GOD OF COVENANT LOYALTY MY HE WILL MEET ME GOD HE WILL LET LOOK ME ON ENEMIES MY 10My God of loving devotion will come to meet me; God will let me stare down my foes.
11MAY NOT YOU KILL THEM LEST THEY SHOULD FORGET PEOPLE MY MAKE WANDER ABOUT THEM BY STRENGTH YOUR AND BRING DOWN THEM O SHIELD OUR O LORD 11Do not kill them, or my people will forget. Scatter them by Your power, and bring them down, O Lord, our shield.
12[THE] SIN OF MOUTH THEIR [THE] WORD OF LIPS THEIR AND LET THEM BE CAUGHT IN PRIDE THEIR AND FROM A CURSE AND FROM LYING [WHICH] THEY SPEAK 12By the sins of their mouths and the words of their lips, let them be trapped in their pride, in the curses and lies they utter.
13MAKE AN END IN ANGER MAKE AN END AND THERE NOT [WILL BE] THEM SO THEY MAY KNOW THAT GOD [IS] RULING OVER JACOB TO [THE] ENDS OF THE EARTH SELAH 13Consume them in wrath; consume them till they are no more, so it may be known to the ends of the earth that God rules over Jacob. Selah
14SO THEY MAY RETURN TO <THE> EVENING THEY GROWL LIKE <THE> DOG SO THEY MAY GO AROUND [THE] CITY 14They return in the evening, snarling like dogs and prowling around the city.
15THEY THEY MAKE WANDER ABOUT! TO EAT IF NOT THEY ARE SATISFIED AND THEY PASSED [THE] NIGHT 15They scavenge for food, and growl if they are not satisfied.
16AND I I WILL SING STRENGTH YOUR SO I MAY SING FOR JOY TO THE MORNING COVENANT LOYALTY YOUR FOR YOU HAVE BEEN A REFUGE OF ME AND A PLACE OF ESCAPE ON [THE] DAY [WHEN] IT IS DISTRESS TO ME 16But I will sing of Your strength and proclaim Your loving devotion in the morning. For You are my fortress my refuge in times of trouble
