43AND HE SAW MOSES <OBJ.> ALL THE WORK AND THERE! THEY HAD DONE <OBJ.> IT JUST AS HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH SO THEY HAD DONE AND HE BLESSED <OBJ.> THEM MOSES 43And Moses inspected all the work and saw that they had accomplished it just as the LORD had commanded. So Moses blessed them.
1AND HE SPOKE YAHWEH TO MOSES <TO> SAYING Setting Up the Tabernacle (Acts 7:44–47; Hebrews 9:1–10) 1Then the LORD said to Moses,
2ON [THE] DAY OF THE MONTH <THE> FIRST ON [DAY] ONE OF THE MONTH YOU WILL SET UP <OBJ.> [THE] TABERNACLE OF [THE] TENT OF MEETING 2“On the first day of the first month you are to set up the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.
3AND YOU WILL PUT THERE <OBJ.> [THE] ARK OF THE TESTIMONY AND YOU WILL COVER OVER THE ARK <OBJ.> THE CURTAIN 3Put the ark of the Testimony*NoteCloseThat is, the ark of the covenant; also in verses 5 and 21 in it and screen off the ark with the veil.
4AND YOU WILL BRING <OBJ.> THE TABLE AND YOU WILL ARRANGE <OBJ.> ARRANGEMENT ITS AND YOU WILL BRING <OBJ.> THE LAMPSTAND AND YOU WILL LIFT UP <OBJ.> LAMPS ITS 4Then bring in the table and set out its arrangement; bring in the lampstand as well, and set up its lamps.
5AND YOU WILL PUT <OBJ.> [THE] ALTAR OF <THE> GOLD FOR INCENSE <TO> BEFORE [THE] ARK OF THE TESTIMONY AND YOU WILL PUT <OBJ.> [THE] SCREEN OF THE ENTRANCE OF THE TABERNACLE 5Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony, and hang the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.
6AND YOU WILL PUT <OBJ.> [THE] ALTAR OF THE BURNT OFFERING <TO> BEFORE [THE] ENTRANCE OF [THE] TABERNACLE OF [THE] TENT OF MEETING 6Place the altar of burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting.
7AND YOU WILL PUT <OBJ.> THE LAVER BETWEEN [THE] TENT OF MEETING AND BETWEEN THE ALTAR AND YOU WILL PUT THERE WATER 7And place the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
8AND YOU WILL PUT <OBJ.> THE COURTYARD ALL AROUND AND YOU WILL PUT <OBJ.> [THE] SCREEN OF [THE] GATE OF THE COURTYARD 8Set up the surrounding courtyard and hang the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard.
9AND YOU WILL TAKE <OBJ.> [THE] OIL OF <THE> ANOINTING AND YOU WILL ANOINT <OBJ.> THE TABERNACLE AND <OBJ.> ALL THAT [IS] IN <THE> IT AND YOU WILL CONSECRATE <OBJ.> IT AND <OBJ.> ALL ARTICLES ITS AND IT WILL BE A HOLY THING 9Take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything in it; consecrate it along with all its furnishings, and it shall be holy.
10AND YOU WILL ANOINT <OBJ.> [THE] ALTAR OF THE BURNT OFFERING AND <OBJ.> ALL ARTICLES ITS AND YOU WILL CONSECRATE <OBJ.> THE ALTAR AND IT WILL BE THE ALTAR HOLINESS OF HOLINESS<ES> 10Anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils; consecrate the altar, and it shall be most holy.
11AND YOU WILL ANOINT <OBJ.> THE LAVER AND <OBJ.> BASE ITS AND YOU WILL CONSECRATE <OBJ.> IT 11Anoint the basin and its stand and consecrate them.
12AND YOU WILL BRING NEAR <OBJ.> AARON AND <OBJ.> SONS HIS TO [THE] ENTRANCE OF [THE] TENT OF MEETING AND YOU WILL WASH <OBJ.> THEM WITH <THE> WATER 12Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water.
13AND YOU WILL CLOTHE <OBJ.> AARON <OBJ.> [THE] GARMENTS OF <THE> HOLINESS AND YOU WILL ANOINT <OBJ.> HIM AND YOU WILL CONSECRATE <OBJ.> HIM AND HE WILL SERVE AS A PRIEST <TO> <THE> ME 13And you are to clothe Aaron with the holy garments, anoint him, and consecrate him, so that he may serve Me as a priest
14AND <OBJ.> SONS HIS YOU WILL BRING NEAR AND YOU WILL CLOTHE <OBJ.> THEM TUNICS 14Bring his sons forward and clothe them with tunics.
15AND YOU WILL ANOINT <OBJ.> THEM JUST AS YOU ANOINTED <OBJ.> FATHER THEIR AND THEY WILL SERVE AS PRIESTS <TO> <THE> ME AND IT WILL BECOME TO BE FOR <THE> THEM ANOINTING THEIR <INTO> A PRIESTHOOD OF PERPETUITY TO GENERATIONS THEIR 15Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so that they may also serve Me as priests Their anointing will qualify them for a permanent priesthood throughout their generations.”
16AND HE DID MOSES ACCORDING TO ALL THAT HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH <OBJ.> HIM SO HE DID 16Moses did everything just as the LORD. had commanded him.
17AND IT WAS IN THE MONTH <THE> FIRST IN THE YEAR <THE> SECOND ON [DAY] ONE OF THE MONTH IT WAS SET UP THE TABERNACLE 17So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month of the second year.
18AND HE SET UP MOSES <OBJ.> THE TABERNACLE AND HE PUT <OBJ.> BASES ITS AND HE SET UP <OBJ.> FRAMES ITS AND HE PUT <OBJ.> BARS ITS AND HE SET UP <OBJ.> PILLARS ITS 18When Moses set up the tabernacle, he laid its bases, positioned its frames, inserted its crossbars, and set up its posts.
19AND HE SPREAD OUT <OBJ.> THE TENT OVER THE TABERNACLE AND HE PUT <OBJ.> [THE] COVERING OF THE TENT OVER IT FROM TO ABOVE <TOWARDS> JUST AS HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH <OBJ.> MOSES 19Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering over the tent, just as the LORD had commanded him.
20AND HE TOOK AND HE PUT <OBJ.> THE TESTIMONY INTO THE ARK AND HE PUT <OBJ.> THE POLES ON THE ARK AND HE PUT <OBJ.> THE ATONEMENT COVER ON THE ARK FROM TO ABOVE <TOWARDS> 20Moses took the Testimony and placed it in the ark, attaching the poles to the ark; and he set the mercy seat atop the ark.
21AND HE BROUGHT <OBJ.> THE ARK INTO THE TABERNACLE AND HE SET UP <OBJ.> [THE] CURTAIN OF THE SCREEN AND HE COVERED OVER [THE] ARK OF THE TESTIMONY JUST AS HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH <OBJ.> MOSES 21Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle, put up the veil for the screen, and shielded off the ark of the Testimony, just as the LORD had commanded him.
22AND HE PUT <OBJ.> THE TABLE IN [THE] TENT OF MEETING ON [THE] SIDE OF THE TABERNACLE NORTH -WARD FROM [THE] OUTSIDE OF THE CURTAIN 22Moses placed the table in the Tent of Meeting on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil.
23AND HE ARRANGED ON IT AN ARRANGEMENT OF BREAD <TO> BEFORE YAHWEH JUST AS HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH <OBJ.> MOSES 23He arranged the bread on it before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
24AND HE PUT <OBJ.> THE LAMPSTAND IN [THE] TENT OF MEETING OPPOSITE TO THE TABLE ON [THE] SIDE OF THE TABERNACLE SOUTH -WARD 24He also placed the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle
25AND HE LIFTED UP THE LAMPS <TO> BEFORE YAHWEH JUST AS HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH <OBJ.> MOSES 25and set up the lamps before the LORD, just as the LORD had commanded him.
26AND HE PUT <OBJ.> [THE] ALTAR OF <THE> GOLD IN [THE] TENT OF MEETING <TO> BEFORE THE CURTAIN 26Moses placed the gold altar in the Tent of Meeting, in front of the veil,
27AND HE MADE SMOKE ON IT INCENSE OF PERFUME<S> JUST AS HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH <OBJ.> MOSES 27and he burned fragrant incense on it, just as the LORD had commanded him.
28AND HE SET UP <OBJ.> [THE] SCREEN OF THE ENTRANCE OF THE TABERNACLE 28Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle.
29AND <OBJ.> [THE] ALTAR OF THE BURNT OFFERING HE SET UP [THE] ENTRANCE OF [THE] TABERNACLE OF [THE] TENT OF MEETING AND HE OFFERED UP ON IT <OBJ.> THE BURNT OFFERING AND <OBJ.> THE GRAIN OFFERING JUST AS HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH <OBJ.> MOSES 29He placed the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the grain offering, just as the LORD had commanded him.
30AND HE PUT <OBJ.> THE LAVER BETWEEN [THE] TENT OF MEETING AND BETWEEN THE ALTAR AND HE PUT THERE <TOWARDS> WATER FOR WASHING 30He placed the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing;
31AND THEY WASHED FROM IT MOSES AND AARON AND SONS HIS <OBJ.> HANDS THEIR AND <OBJ.> FEET THEIR 31and from it Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and feet.
32WHEN WENT THEY INTO [THE] TENT OF MEETING AND WHEN DREW NEAR THEY TO THE ALTAR THEY WASHED JUST AS HE HAD COMMANDED YAHWEH <OBJ.> MOSES 32They washed whenever they entered the Tent of Meeting or approached the altar, just as the LORD had commanded Moses.
33AND HE SET UP <OBJ.> THE COURTYARD AROUND <TO> THE TABERNACLE AND <TO> THE ALTAR AND HE PUT <OBJ.> [THE] SCREEN OF [THE] GATE OF THE COURTYARD AND HE FINISHED MOSES <OBJ.> THE WORK 33And Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and the altar, and he hung the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard. So Moses finished the work.
34AND IT COVERED THE CLOUD <OBJ.> [THE] TENT OF MEETING AND [THE] GLORY OF YAHWEH IT FILLED <OBJ.> THE TABERNACLE The Cloud and the Glory (Numbers 9:15–23) 34Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
35AND NOT HE WAS ABLE MOSES TO GO INTO [THE] TENT OF MEETING FOR IT HAD SETTLED DOWN OVER IT THE CLOUD AND [THE] GLORY OF YAHWEH IT HAD FILLED <OBJ.> THE TABERNACLE 35Moses was unable to enter the Tent of Meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
36AND WHEN WAS TAKEN UP THE CLOUD FROM OVER THE TABERNACLE THEY SET OUT [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL IN ALL JOURNEYINGS THEIR 36Whenever the cloud was lifted from above the tabernacle, the Israelites would set out through all the stages of their journey.
37AND IF NOT IT WAS TAKEN UP THE CLOUD AND NOT THEY SET OUT UNTIL [THE] DAY WAS TAKEN UP IT 37If the cloud was not lifted, they would not set out until the day it was taken up.
38FOR [THE] CLOUD OF YAHWEH [WAS] OVER THE TABERNACLE BY DAY AND FIRE IT WAS NIGHT ON <THE> IT TO [THE] EYES OF ALL [THE] HOUSE OF ISRAEL IN ALL JOURNEYINGS THEIR 38For the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel through all their journeys.
