2AND IT BELONGED TO <THE> THEM <IN> INHERITANCE THEIR BEER SHEBA AND SHEBA AND MOLADAH 2and included Beersheba (or Sheba), Moladah,
6AND BETH LEBAOTH AND SHARUHEN CITIES THIR- TEEN AND VILLAGES THEIR 6Beth-lebaoth, and Sharuhen— thirteen cities, along with their villages.
7AIN RIMMON AND ETHER AND ASHAN CITIES FOUR AND VILLAGES THEIR 7Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan— four cities, along with their villages,
8AND ALL THE VILLAGES WHICH [WERE] AROUND THE CITIES <THE> THESE TO BAALATH BEER OF RAMAH NEGEV THIS [WAS] [THE] INHERITANCE OF [THE] TRIBE OF [THE] DESCENDANTS OF SIMEON TO CLANS THEIR 8and all the villages surrounding these cities as far as Baalath-beer (Ramah of the Negev). This was the inheritance of the clans of the tribe of Simeon.
9[WAS] FROM [THE] PORTION OF [THE] DESCENDANTS OF JUDAH [THE] INHERITANCE OF [THE] DESCENDANTS OF SIMEON FOR IT WAS [THE] PORTION OF [THE] DESCENDANTS OF JUDAH [TOO] GREAT FOR THEM AND THEY RECEIVED THEIR INHERITANCE [THE] DESCENDANTS OF SIMEON IN [THE] MIDST OF INHERITANCE THEIR 9The inheritance of the Simeonites was taken from the territory of Judah because the share for Judah’s descendants was too large for them. So the Simeonites received an inheritance within Judah’s portion.
10AND IT CAME UP THE LOT <THE> THIRD FOR [THE] DESCENDANTS OF ZEBULUN TO CLANS THEIR AND IT WAS [THE] BORDER OF INHERITANCE THEIR TO SARID Zebulun’s Inheritance 10The third lot came up for the clans of the tribe of Zebulun: The border of their inheritance stretched as far as Sarid.
11AND IT GOES UP BORDER THEIR TO THE WEST <TOWARDS> AND MARALAH AND IT TOUCHES <ON> DABBESHETH AND IT TOUCHES <TO> THE WADI WHICH [IS] ON [THE] FACE OF JOKNEAM 11It went up westward to Maralah, reached Dabbesheth, and met the brook east of Jokneam.
12AND IT TURNS BACK FROM SARID EAST -WARD [THE] RISING OF THE SUN TO [THE] BORDER OF KISLOTH TABOR AND IT GOES OUT TO <THE> DABERATH AND IT GOES UP JAPHIA 12From Sarid it turned eastward along the border of Chisloth-tabor and went on to Daberath and up to Japhia.
13AND FROM THERE IT PASSES ON EAST -WARD EAST -WARD GATH TOWARDS HEPHER ETH TOWARDS KAZIN AND IT GOES OUT RIMMON WHICH IS TURNED <THE> NEAH 13From there it crossed eastward to Gath-hepher and to Eth-kazin; it extended to Rimmon and curved around toward Neah.
14AND IT TURNS <OBJ.> ITSELF THE BORDER FROM [THE] NORTH HANNATHON AND THEY ARE EXTREMITIES ITS [THE] VALLEY OF IPHTAH EL 14Then the border circled around the north side of Neah to Hannathon and ended at the Valley of Iphtah-el.
15AND KATTAH AND NAHALAL AND SHIMRON AND IDALAH AND BETH- -LEHEM CITIES TWO [PLUS] TEN AND VILLAGES THEIR 15It also included Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. There were twelve cities, along with their villages.

17FOR ISSACHAR IT CAME OUT THE LOT <THE> FOURTH FOR [THE] DESCENDANTS OF ISSACHAR TO CLANS THEIR Issachar’s Inheritance 17The fourth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Issachar:
18AND IT WAS BORDER THEIR JEZREEL TOWARDS AND <THE> KESULLOTH AND SHUNEM 18Their territory included Jezreel, Chesulloth, Shunem,

22AND IT TOUCHES THE BORDER <ON> TABOR AND TO SHAHAZAYIM AND BETH SHEMESH AND THEY ARE [THE] EXTREMITIES OF TERRITORY THEIR THE JORDAN CITIES SIX- TEEN AND VILLAGES THEIR 22The border reached Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-shemesh, and ended at the Jordan. There were sixteen cities, along with their villages.

32FOR [THE] DESCENDANTS OF NAPHTALI IT CAME OUT THE LOT <THE> SIXTH FOR [THE] DESCENDANTS OF NAPHTALI TO CLANS THEIR Naphtali’s Inheritance 32The sixth lot came out for the clans of the tribe of Naphtali:
33AND IT WAS BORDER THEIR FROM HELEPH FROM [THE] GREAT TREE IN ZAANANNIM AND ADAMI <THE> NEKEB AND JABNEEL TO LAKKUM AND IT WAS EXTREMITIES ITS THE JORDAN 33Their border started at Heleph and the great tree of Zaanannim, passing Adami-nekeb and Jabneel as far as Lakkum and ending at the Jordan.

49AND THEY FINISHED TO DIVIDE FOR POSSESSION <OBJ.> THE LAND TO BORDERS ITS AND THEY GAVE [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL AN INHERITANCE TO JOSHUA [THE] SON OF NUN IN MIDST OF THEM Joshua’s Inheritance 49When they had finished distributing the land into its territories, the Israelites gave Joshua son of Nun an inheritance among them,

51THESE [ARE] THE INHERITANCES WHICH THEY GAVE AS A POSSESSION ELEAZAR THE PRIEST AND JOSHUA [THE] SON OF NUN AND [THE] LEADERS OF THE FATHERS OF [THE] TRIBES OF [THE] PEOPLE OF ISRAEL BY LOT AT SHILOH <TO> BEFORE YAHWEH [THE] ENTRANCE OF [THE] TENT OF MEETING AND THEY FINISHED FROM APPORTIONING <OBJ.> THE LAND 51These are the inheritances that Eleazar the priest, Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the families distributed by lot to the tribes of Israel at Shiloh before the LORD at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. So they finished dividing up the land.
